2016 has definitely been a very lucky year for our telly town. With good news pouring in from everywhere, the year has been very overwhelming. Especially for our beloved TV actors, 2016 can be renamed as ‘the year of weddings’.

With Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya, Sambhavna Seth and Avinash Dwivedi, Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu getting married this year, it is now the turn of famous TV actors Siddhant Karnick and Megha Gupta.

The couple was engaged on 12 May 2016, and tied the knot on 16 August, 2016. The wedding was not a huge celebration as unfortunately, Megha’s dad passed away recently. It was a sudden jolt for the family, and therefore the couple decided for the affair to be a low-key registered wedding.
When a leading website asked Siddhant about the wedding, this is what he said:
"Yes, we opted to go with registered marriage as we wanted to keep it a low affair due to the sudden demise of Megha's dad. Celebrations will happen later on."

The Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani star, Siddhant, and the Dream Girl actress, Megha, kept their relationship a secret from the eyes of fans and media for a long time. It was after a year of them being together, that they were vocal about their relationship.
When once a leading entertainment portal asked the gorgeous actress Megha about the same in an interview, she replied:
"I am in a very happy phase of life. We had always bumped into each other at various events but only shared pleasantries. But last year, when we met at Vivian-Vahbiz’s party, something clicked. It’s been almost a year now that we are together."

Megha earlier dated actor Naman Shaw, and was later married to Aditya Shroff (most of us know him as Sonakshi Sinha’s ex-boyfriend). The marriage went kaput and Megha decided to end it.
But, we are very happy that Megha found love in Siddhant again, and moved on happily. Because, from the looks of the couple’s cutesy pictures it is quite evident, that they are very much in-love.
