Last year, the rumours of trouble in Shweta's paradise made it to the gossip section of every newspaper. And it was confirmed when Shweta had filed a domestic violence case against her second husband, Abhinav Kohli. According to the reports, she had filed a case at Samta Nagar Police Station in Mumbai and Abhinav was immediately taken into police custody for 2 days. He was accused of using inappropriate language to his step-daughter, Palak.
Since then, Shweta has been living with away from Abhinav. But according to a news portal, TellyChakkar, the two have been living together. Yes, Shweta and Abhinav are not living separately. During an interaction with TellyChakkar, Abhinav confirmed that they are living together. He said, "We’re not separated. We are staying together." However, he refused to answer any more questions and said, "I can’t speak much about it." We are anxiously waiting to know the truth!
Last year, during a press conference for Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, Shweta was asked to give a message for women, who are facing domestic violence in their marriage. To this, the actress had stated that there are a lot of people who tell her, "Achha? Dobara bhi problem? Aisa ho nahi sakta. Aisa kyu nahi ho sakta? At least I have the guts that if I faced a problem again, I could speak up about my problems without any fear whatsoever. What others think of me is none of my concern. Later, in an interaction with the Hindustan Times, Shweta had shared that it was her family, who made her strong in the times of need. After all, she is a parent and she is the one, who has to raise her daughter (Palak) and son (Reyansh). She had also added that she draws her strength from her daughter, Palak, who has taken care of her like her own mother.
