On September 2, 2020, Shweta had shared an emotional video of her bhai, crying on a reality show on her Instagram handle, and had talked about how her heart bleeds every day that her brother is no more. She had also raised the question of when will they get justice?
On September 4, 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti shared a happy picture with Sushant wherein he can be seen lying on the couch and her sisters bathed him in currency notes. She remembered about the time when she had flown down from the US to watch Sushant's blockbuster movie, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. Her caption can be read as "It was Oct of 2016, Bhai had asked me to fly down from the USA so that all of us can watch Dhoni Movie together in the Theatre. I was sooo proud of him and so excited that I took the first plane I got to reach India and celebrate Bhai's success together. I miss you so much Bhai. God, give me the strength to bear this loss. #MyBrotherTheBest #MissYouBhai."
It is pertinent to bring to your notice that Shweta's post has come after Sushant's girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty's claims that he had a strained relationship with his family. Not only Shweta but her husband, Vishal Kirti as well, has penned in his blog how often his wife would leave in the USA to be with her brother, whenever he would call. In his blog, he remembers how close Sushant was to his family and how they would often spend time together to celebrate his success and whatnot.
In a blog titled "Five Times My Wife Left Me Behind In America To Be With Her Brother", Vishal Kirti wrote about five occasions, starting from 2014 where his wife, Shweta Singh Kirti had flown down to India on very short notice to be with her brother, Sushant. Talking about one incident where Shweta had rebooked her ticket to reach India sooner when she had gotten to know that Sushant will be attending a family function. He wrote, "She cancelled her summer ticket and rushed to India at short notice. I joined her next month in June with my daughter and spent some quality time with Sushant as well." He further recalls the time when Sushant's blockbuster movie, MS Dhoni:The Untold Story was released, and it was decided that the whole family would watch it together. He said, "In 2016, it was decided that the entire Singh Rajput family would watch the movie together. Again at very short notice, Shweta made a 3-day trip from the US to India, just to watch the movie together as a family and celebrate Sushant's success. She spent 2-days flying and 3-days in India with the entire family. Can you imagine the jetlag?"
Vishal concluded his blog on a sad note over how there will be no more happy trips for Shweta. He wrote, "It's sad that she won't be making such trips anymore (the happy ones, prior to 2019) because the shining star of the family is gone. How many families can claim such dedication and it hurts me when aspersions are cast on a wonderful family like Sushant's. My wife is a married professional businesswoman living in the US with two kids (it's a very busy lifestyle) but she prioritized to be with her family when the family needed her, despite all the limitations. Such is the Singh Rajput family." (Don't Miss: Dimpy Ganguly Shares An Adorable Monochrome Picture Of Her 'Little Piggies', Aryaan And Reanna)
