One amongst many celebs who are tying the knot in December 2018 is none other than Makdee fame actress, Shweta Badu Prasad. The little girl from the movie is all grown to a beautiful and effervescent young woman.
So, the good news is Shweta Basu Prasad is all set to walk down the aisle with her long-time boyfriend, Rohit Mittal. The wedding is slated to take place on December 13, 2018, in Pune. One week after the wedding, the couple will be hosting a grand reception in Mumbai. Apparently, the wedding will take place as per Bengali as well as Marwadi rituals. For the ones who don’t know, Shweta and Rohit have been dating each other for past four years and were in a live-in relationship for past two years. And after being together for so many years, the two have finally thought of taking their relationship a step ahead. And it was allegedly Shweta who popped up the question. Before Shweta’s D-day, the soon-to-be bride is enjoying a bachelorette trip with her friends in Bali. Here's a glimpse:
Confirming to her dating news, Shweta was once quoted as saying, "Okay. Yes, we are dating and it’s been almost two years. We are in a happy space and enjoying our relationship. We haven’t thought about marriage but yes it’s going smooth. I met Rohit at Phantom Films and that’s how it all started." It is filmmaker Anurag who played the cupid between Shweta and Rohit. Anurag has been constantly guiding Rohit in directing techniques. A source had earlier revealed, “Anurag, who had been guiding Rohit in filmmaking techniques, introduced him to Shweta. They hit it off right from the word ‘Go’. They are very serious about each other, but want to focus on their careers right now.” The source also added, “Though the feeling was mutual, it was Shweta who proposed to Rohit in Goa first. He then proposed to her in Pune (his hometown). While marriage is on the cards, the couple is not in a hurry to walk down the aisle.”
Rohit and Shweta got engaged inJune this year, and confirming the same a TOI report had stated, “The two have been together for four years now and got engaged last year. Both belong to the film fraternity and have collaborated on short films. The elated Chandra Nandini fame, Shweta Basu Prasad too opened up and was quoted as saying, “Yes, it is true. Rohit and I are engaged but both of us are extremely private about our personal lives so we don’t talk about it.”
