For the past few months, there have been speculations about Sara Ali Khan dating Indian cricketer, Shubman Gill. Daughter of actors, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, Sara Ali Khan is one of the most loved actresses of B-town. On the other hand, the young Indian batsman, Shubman is hailed for his exploits in the U-19 World Cup.
For the unversed, Sara Ali Khan and Shubman Gill's dating speculations had begun when the two were spotted having dinner at a plush restaurant. On August 30, 2022, a picture of Sara Ali Khan and Shubman Gill, enjoying a dinner date in their casual attires went viral on social media, leading to their dating rumours.

Shubman Gill recently made an appearance on Preeti and Neeti Simoe’s Punjabi chat show, Dil Diyan Gallan. On the show, when Shubman was asked to name the fittest actress in Bollywood, the handsome cricketer quickly responded, “Sara.” Not just this, when he was asked whether he is dating Sara, pat came the reply, “May be.”
Shubman subtly gave a hint about being in a relationship with Sara when the host quipped him further and said, “sara ka sara sach bolo.” The young batsman blushed and replied:
“Sara da sara sach bol diya. May be, maybe not.”

On September 8, 2022, Shubman Gill turned a year older, and one of his close friends, Khushpreet Singh Aulakh, shared a post to wish him on his special day. Alongside the post, he penned a hilarious note with a 'Sara' connection, which added fuel to Shubman Gill's dating rumours. The netizens were quick to take note of his intriguing caption and flooded the post's comment section to respond to the same. While one user wrote, "Haha lovely caption", another one commented, "Bohot SARA".
Shubman was earlier rumoured to be dating cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter, Sara Tendulkar. On the other hand, Sara Ali Khan was reportedly in a steady relationship with actor, Karthik Aaryan, but the duo broke up later. Before Kartik Aaryan, Sara's name has been linked with actors Harshavarrdhan Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter, Veer Pahariya, and Sushant Singh Rajput.
