Bollywood actor, Shreyas Talpade is known for his amazing acting skills. However, not many know that his personal life is not less than a film's tale. Recently, Shreyas Talpade took a journey down memory lane and opened up on the times when he had tried to keep his marriage away from the media glare and how his first wedding night was ruined.

Before we take you further into the story, let us take a recap of Shreyas Talpade's love story with Deepti Talpade. The actor had met his wife, Deepti, at a college event, where he was invited as a guest. He had met Deepti during the event and had fallen in love with her. After dating for few years, the couple had tied the knot in the year 2004.
Recently, in an interview with The Times of India, Shreyas opened up on his married life. Shreyas revealed that he was told to cancel his wedding by his film director, Nagesh Kukonoor. Shreyas revealed that he was supposed to start the shoot for his film, Iqbal, when he had asked the director for a holiday on December 31. However, his director had assumed that he wanted to party, but when Shreyas had told him that he was going to get married on that day, Nagesh had asked him to 'cancel' the wedding.

Shreyas revealed what he felt at that time and shared, "Here I was, a middle-class guy whose wedding cards had gone out, being told to cancel it; I didn’t know what to do. It was after a lot of convincing and assuring him that I would keep the wedding under wraps, that he let me have a day off."
In the same interview, Shreyas revealed how his wedding night was ruined by his film's tight schedule. The actor shared that just after the wedding on January 1, he and his newly-married wife, Deepti, reached Hyderabad at 7 am. At the airport, a crew member was waiting to take them to the hotel. Shreyas stated, "After a day of practice sessions, on our first wedding night, I was running a fever!"
For those who don't know, after 14 years of marriage, Shreyas and Deepti had embraced parenthood in the year 2018. The couple had gotten blessed with a beautiful baby girl, who was born via surrogacy.
