Shreya Ghoshal had made a permanent place in our hearts when she had sung the soulful song, Bairi Piya in Devdas. And since then, there was no looking back for this beautiful singer. In 2017, Shreya had become the first Indian singer to have a wax statue of her in Madame Tussauds. Shreya had gotten married to her childhood sweetheart, Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya on February 5, 2015, in a traditional Bengali ceremony. A few days back, Shreya had announced the ‘good news’ of expecting her first child.

On March 4, 2021, Shreya had announced the happiest news of her life. After 6 years of marital bliss, Shreya and her hubby, Shiladitya are expecting their first child together. Taking to her IG handle, Shreya had posted a picture, where she could be seen wearing a blue dress, holding her baby bump and looking at it with utmost love. Sharing the picture, she had shared that she is excited to start this new chapter in her life. She had written, “Baby #Shreyaditya is on its way! @shiladitya and me are thrilled to share this news with you all. Need all your love and blessings as we prepare ourselves for this new chapter in our lives.”
Ever since, Shreya had announced the news of her pregnancy, we are hooked on to her social media handle and have been witnessing adorable pictures from her pregnancy diary. A few hours back, Shreya took to her IG handle and shared some adorable pictures with her fur baby, Sherlock. In the pictures, Shreya’s pregnancy glow was unmissable as she was seen showering her love on Sherlock and he was enjoying the attention. Along with the pictures, Shreya wrote, “Puppy and Momma! @sherlockthefetcher.”
On March 28, 2021, Shreya had taken to her IG handle and had shared some beautiful pictures of her clicked by her hubby, Shiladitya. Dressed in a grey attire, Shreya looked gorgeous flaunting her baby bump and her pregnancy glow was the highlight of the pictures. Along with the pictures, Shreya had written about the beautiful phase of her life, which could be read as “Experiencing the most beautiful phase of my life. The divine miracle of God.”

In an interview with ETimes, Shreya had talked about her pregnancy and how her husband, Shiladitya has been taking care of her. She had said, “I am absolutely over the moon! We are grateful to the almighty for blessing us. I have always heard from friends and family members what a miraculous thing it is to feel a life growing within you, and now I am getting to experience it. Motherhood is among the most precious gifts a woman can cherish.” She had further added, “Shiladitya has been taking care of my health, mood swings and cravings. We wanted to plan this for a long time, but it's only now that we finally got a break from our crazy work schedules to give it the right amount of focus and love. We are nervous and excited at the same time. It’s all so new to us.”
Sharing how her parents are pampering her and her pet, Sherlocks’ reaction to her pregnancy, Shreya had said, “My mom and dad are pampering me a lot. All my bizarre food cravings at odd hours are lovingly taken care of by them. They are so excited about becoming grandparents. Soumyadeep, my brother with whom I released a song recently, has been so caring. My in-laws, too, are very loving and supportive. My pet, Sherlock, seems to be very curious about all that is happening around him. He can probably sense he is getting a sibling soon.”
