Shreya Ghoshal’s pregnancy journey of nine months has finally come to an end as the singer welcomed a baby this afternoon. Shreya’s life is going to be changed for good as she became a mother. The singer had married her childhood love, Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya and after six years of married life, the two have welcomed their first child. On February 5, 2015, Shreya and Shiladitya had gotten married in a Bengali ceremony in the presence of their close family and friends. The couple had announced the news of their pregnancy in the month of March 2021 and now, they are blessed with a baby.

It was on March 4, 2021, when Shreya had announced her first pregnancy on her IG handle. Taking to her IG handle, the singer had posted a picture, where she could be seen wearing a blue dress, holding her baby bump and looking at it with utmost love. Sharing the picture, Shreya had expressed her excitement to start this new chapter in her life. She had written, “Baby #Shreyaditya is on its way! @shiladitya and me are thrilled to share this news with you all. Need all your love and blessings as we prepare ourselves for this new chapter in our lives.”
A few minutes back, Shreya Ghoshal took to her IG handle and shared a post to announce the best news of her life. In the picture, Shreya shared that she and her husband, Shiladitya are blessed with a baby boy this afternoon, i.e, on May 22, 2021. She captioned her post as “God has blessed us with a precious baby boy this afternoon. It’s an emotion never felt before. @shiladitya and I along with our families are absolutely overjoyed. Thank you for your countless blessings for our little bundle of joy.”
Shreya had always considered her pregnancy phase to be the most beautiful phase and had expressed the same on her IG handle. On March 28, 2021, Shreya had taken to her IG handle to share some beautiful pictures of her clicked by her hubby, Shiladitya. Dressed in grey attire, Shreya had looked gorgeous flaunting her baby bump and her pregnancy glow was the highlight of the pictures. Along with the pictures, Shreya had written about the beautiful phase of her life, which could be read as “Experiencing the most beautiful phase of my life. The divine miracle of God.”

In an interview with ETimes, Shreya had shared if the couple has decided any name for their then-soon-to-be-born child yet. She had said, “We are considering many options and are asking family and friends for suggestions. I think I will now open it to my fans as well. They will surely come up with the most meaningful and unique names.” She had also revealed whether they have prepared a nursery for their then-soon-to-be-born yet and had said, “I kept thinking that there is a lot of time, but I got busy with my work during this pregnancy, and now, I can’t believe how time has flown by. I have to start preparing soon.” Shreya had also revealed that she plans to do her child’s nursery on her own and had said, “I love doing things myself, and for this, I would not have it any other way.”
Shreya had also talked about her pregnancy experience and how her husband, Shiladitya was taking care of her. She had said, “I am absolutely over the moon! We are grateful to the almighty for blessing us. I have always heard from friends and family members what a miraculous thing it is to feel a life growing within you, and now I am getting to experience it. Motherhood is among the most precious gifts a woman can cherish.”
