It seems that Bollywood has decided to give us all a tough run when it comes to celebrity weddings. Reportedly, the year 2019 will be marked with many such weddings and a few couple names include Malaika Arora-Arjun Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar-Shibani Dandekar, among others. And the latest addition in the spree of upcoming B-town weddings is Shraddha Kapoor and her rumoured boyfriend, Rohan Shrestha. Rohan is a celebrated photographer whose photos have appeared in many international platforms. Shraddha Kapoor and Rohan Shreshta will reportedly take the nuptial plunge next year in 2020. A report in Bollywood Bubble has claimed that Shraddha's parents have asked her to take this major decision as she is already 32 and she has spoken to Rohan about the same. The families have also begun the preparations as suggested by the report and Shraddha's D-day would fall in 2020.
The 32-year-old actress was at one point linked with her Rock On 2 co-star, Farhan Akhtar. Reportedly, she has now asked Rohan to not work with Farhan. A media report had suggested, "Shraddha has forbidden her new steady date, photographer Rohan Shrestha, against working with Farhan. The lensman was supposed to have shot a campaign featuring Farhan, but has bowed out of it."
Shraddha and Rohan's relationship have been the talk of the tinsel town lately. In August 2018, Rohan went on record and had told an online tabloid, “We have been extremely close for the last 9 years, but NO, I am not dating her. I met her at a party and we instantly hit it off. First impressions I definitely thought she was cute, but have only remained best friends ever since."
During the poster launch of his upcoming film, The Journey of Karma, Shraddha Kapoor's father, Shakti Kapoor was quoted as saying in 2018, “Every father wants that his daughter will get married in a good and respected family. He had further added, “Now, we have to ask them about their choices in terms of everything, including their life partners. She is right now very busy in her career, but whenever she will tell us about her marriage plans, she will marry a man of her own choice and we don't have any objection with that.”
It must be noted here that once it was reported that Shakti Kapoor had dragged Shraddha out of her rumoured ex-boyfriend, Farhan Akhtar's house. He had responded by saying, “That’s total crap! It’s all shit. Somebody else also called me to inform me about this, but don’t believe it. It’s total, total, TOTAL crap. The level of fiction can go to incredible heights. I choose to ignore them and just focus on my work.”
Earlier, talking about her breakup with Farhan and media reports about her live-in relationship with Farhan, Shraddha was quoted as saying, "I got a message from someone telling me about this article, and initially, I was amused. While it doesn’t make a difference to me because I know it’s not true, it’s sad that these false stories go so far that people forget we are human, too. Of course, we are actors and there will be people who would probably want to read something gossipy about us, but when it involves my father, my aunt and my co-star, it’s taking it too far."
