Shraddha Arya of Kundali Bhagya fame is riding high on her professional life. Rumours about the gorgeous actress' personal life and about her relationships have been doing the rounds for quite some time but it was on the reality show, Nach Baliye 9 when Shraddha had made the announcement of dating a Jalandhar based business, Alam Makkar. Shraddha was earlier engaged to an NRI businessman, but their engagement was called off later. The actress had moved on and is enjoying her time with Alam.
Shraddha and Alam were one of the favourite jodis of Nach Baliye 9 and had created news by getting engaged on the show. In an interview with The Times of India, Shraddha has talked about her engagement as a part of the performance. Talking further on the same lines, she stated that her engagement to Alam was simply an act and couldn’t understand what was the hue and cry about. She further stated that Alam took a ring from somebody on the set and just performed his part and it had nothing to do with reality.
She further revealed that she is dating Alam but right now her focus is on her career and is in no hurry to get engaged to him. She further said that her relationship is too new and it is just been a few months into it and wants to take her own sweet time. She explained that they do not want to rush into anything as they are still getting to know each other. In an interview with TellyCkakkar, Shraddha Arya had revealed why she feels that her fans will still take some time to adjust to the fact that she is dating. The 32-year-old actress had remarked, “I believe my fans are still in a shock and are in denial mode regarding me and Alam dating. Maybe it’s because both of us have started our relationship very recently and did not officially announce it. It was only through Nach Baliye that they came to know about my relationship status.” Further talking about their Nach Baliye 9 stint, Alam was quoted as saying, “One or two months ago, I wouldn’t have imagined myself dancing on a stage. My life was all around office work and business meetings. However, when we decided to take this up, we thought of doing it with complete dedication.”
Talking about her relationship with Alam, in an interview with Indian Express, the actress had retorted, “When I was first offered the show three months back, I outrightly rejected it. Never in my remotest thoughts did I plan this. But when they did not give up on me, I asked myself what was stopping me from doing the show? I was getting to learn different dance forms on such a big platform. I wondered why it is a taboo to talk about who you are dating publicly. It is so natural. I wanted to break that taboo that celebs have to keep their love life under wraps. I don’t know how the relationship will shape up in the future but I am in a happy phase right now.
