The year had begun with a global pandemic and had spoiled all our travel plans. While masks, gloves, and social distancing have become the new normal of our lives, all we crave for is to step out and live our good old days. With the lockdown being lifted with certain relaxations, people are getting out of the confinements of their homes. As we scroll through our social media handles, we see pictures of our favourite celebs taking short trips to relive their days before COVID-19 outbreak. Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are the latest celeb couple to take a short trip to Lonavala for a family vacation. The most loved couple of the telly world, Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim had met on the sets of the serial, Sasural Simar Ka. It was on February 22, 2018, when Dipika Kakar had added Ibrahim to her name after she had said Qubool Hai to Shoaib Ibrahim in a nikah ceremony at his hometown, Maudaha. Since then, the lovely couple had embarked their happily ever after and has been treating their fans with glimpses of their love. Dipika is adored by her in-laws, and she also leaves no chance to express her love for them.
On September 22, 2020, Shoaib took to his IG handle and shared a mesmerising picture with Dipika from their Lonavala trip. Curled up in each other’s arms, Dipika and Shoaib looked like a match-made-in-heaven. Along with the beautiful picture, Shoaib penned his thoughts about his ladylove and wrote, “Aafaton ke daur mein, chein ki ghadi hai tu meri zindagi hai tu” followed by a heart emoticon.
Sometime back, Shoaib Ibrahim had taken to his IG handle and had indulged in an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session. During the session, a fan had asked him, which on-screen character ‘Simar or Sonakshi’ played by Dipika is his favourite and his reply had won our hearts. On July 27, 2020, Shoaib Ibrahim had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a beautiful picture with his wifey, Dipika Kakar. In the picture, Dipika had teased her pati, Shoaib while he was blushing. Along with the picture, Shoaib had written, "Hum kya hai sirf hum hi jaante hai, log humare baare mein sirf andaaza hi laga sakte hain." On their lovely picture, Shoaib's sister, Saba Ibrahim had commented with a heart emoticon.
In an interview with The Indian Express, Dipika had talked at lengths about her relationship with Shoaib. When asked what is that one thing, she loves about Shoaib, Dipika had stated that she loves the way he values each and every relationship in his life. Be it his family, friends or even co-actors, Shoaib is somebody, who treats everyone with the same respect. He does not differentiate between people and takes everyone along and walks ahead.
On April 23, 2020, Dipika, who was all set to begin the holy month of Ramadan, had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a picture with her hubby, Shoaib Ibrahim, and her mother-in-law. In the picture, Dipika was seen hugging her ammi while Shoaib had rested his head on Dipika’s shoulder while her sister-in-law, Saba had clicked the beautiful picture. Along with the picture, she had written, “In muskurahaton se badhkar ab aur kya maangu uparwale se.... Apne khazaane ka ye sabse keemti zewar usne hume de diya hai. @saba_ka_jahaan was clicking it so is not in it.
