After the dandiya raas night at the Ambani residence, Antilia, the Ambani-Mehta families along with their friends including B-town celebs, industrialists and sports maestros, flew off to St. Moritz in Switzerland for a three-day pre-wedding bash of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta. For the first day, the soon-to-be bride and groom made their entry in a beautiful white chariot. The theme of Akash and Shloka’s pre-wedding bash in Switzerland is ‘Winter Wonderland’. Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta are all set to host their sangeet ceremony on February 26, 2019, and the first look of the bride is finally out. The bride-to-be, Shloka Mehta looked stunning in a lehenga which she wore with a choker and maang teeka. Here's the first picture of the bride-to-be:
As per a Mid-Day report, American pop rock band, Maroon 5 will be performing at Akash and Shloka's sangeet ceremony in Mumbai. The source was quoted as saying, “Since Shloka and Akash are both fans of Maroon 5, the family thought it fitting to have them perform for the couple at the sangeet that will be held on March 8. While Akash's favourite track is Sugar in which the band is seen gatecrashing weddings, Shloka loves Move Like Jagger.”
The source had further stated, “Naturally, these two chartbusters have found a place in the set that the band is putting together for their gig. They are expected to perform for almost 40 minutes with other hits like She Will Be Loved, Makes Me Wonder and One More Night on the playlist. The team of sound designers that frequently works with Maroon 5 is coming down from Canada to check on the arrangements. Maroon 5 is known to charge anywhere between $1mn and $1.5mn for private shows. It will be an expensive affair.”
The celebrations began at the Ambani residence with a garba night and popular Gujarati folk singer, Falguni Pathak along with singer, Tushar Trivedi performed for the guests. Sharing some glimpses from the night, Tushar captioned it, “Performed Last Night for #Ambani Family with One & Only #FalguniPathak n Ta-Thaiya.”

On February 20, 2019, ace Bollywood designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee posted two beautiful pictures of the groom-to-be, Akash Ambani’s mother, Nita Ambani stunningly dressed up for one of the pre-wedding functions. The mother of the groom-to-be looked resplendent in a blush pink Sabyasachi ethnic wear and heritage jewellery. Sabyasachi captioned her photos as, “Nita Ambani in Sabyasachi clothing and jewellery from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry collection.” Here are the two pictures:
An India Today report contained details of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding, which could be read as, “The Mangal Baaraat will assemble at the Trident in Mumbai at 3.30pm on Saturday. From the Trident, the baaraatis are to leave for the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex. A high tea will be hosted for the guests at Jio World Centre at 6.30pm on March 9. Akash and Shloka's wedding ceremony will take place at 7.30pm.” Apart from this, a post-wedding celebration will be held on March 10, 2019, and a reception will be hosted on March 11, 2019, for people belonging to the world of business, Bollywood, politics and cricket.
