And one of the hottest actresses of Bollywood, who doesn’t seem to age is none other than yummy mummy-cum-doting wife, Shilpa Shetty Kundra. The actress is currently holidaying in London with her hubby, Raj Kundra, son, Viaan, mommy, Sunanda Shetty and sister, Shamita Shetty. The actress took to Instagram and shared an adorable picture from their Christmas celebrations. Sharing an adorable picture, Shilpa wrote, “Merry Christmas Instafam... Also sharing an array of fun-filled pictures from the Kundra family’s cooking spree, Shilpa gave all fans a much-needed peek into the fun that she is having! Here is what she wrote, along with the following pictures, “Turkey Ready.. Christmas lunch is always a grand affair -our London home . Turkey with the trimmings (chestnuts, parsnips,purplecabbage, mash,carrots and Yorkshire puds) and 8 desserts at atleast. With family and friends over to feast..it’s pandemonium in the kitchen with everyone trying to make a dish or chip in..Keeping up the with tradition the Turkey Roast is my dept , and this time it was a 10 kg one. Marinated it the previous night with fresh sage, thyme and rosemary butter and put it in the oven at 4 am to be ready in time ( 7hrs in the oven) All well worth the effort when it turns out right.. crispy from the out and moist inside ..Happy faces ..Job done ! @rajkundra9 Well done the molten lava cake was yummmm #familytime #gratitude #christmaslunch #foodcoma #londondiaries #festive.”
And a few hours back, the Baazigar star shared glimpses of her fun-filled London Winter Wonderland tour. Shilpa looked awestruck at the mere sight of the adrenaline-stirring rides and wrote, “No December trip to London is complete without Winter Wonderland fun. Aren’t they one amazing family? In an interview with Filmfare, Raj had once stated what drew him towards Shilpa. He had then shared, “It was love at first sight. From the moment I saw her, I knew I’d love her to be my life partner. She’s got an angelic side to her. Her homely side grew on me as I got to know her. She’s a great housewife. She’s a supermom! She’s the wind beneath my wings and I try to be her support system. We are each other’s strengths.”
Last year (2017), a sad rumour broke our hearts: 'Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra are getting divorced' it read. Shilpa had to intervene to banish all such rumours and let us heave a sigh of relief. She was quoted as saying, “It is complete rubbish. I don’t even know where these rumours came from. I believe in the institution of marriage, and I love my husband. Many of my relatives from London, UK, called up, and they were really worried about these rumours. They were going through all the news channels back home."
Not just this, the 43-year-old star was furious over her divorce rumours. She had then shared, “Can you believe that? Kya sochkar likhte hai yaar. Even Raj and my friends were so embarrassed. I think some of my friends were having a party and they were scared to call Raj and me as they believed the rumour. One of them called and said ‘accha humne ghar par party rakhi hui hai aa jaana’. As I was traveling, I got to know from them about the rumour. I think it’s part and parcel of being a celebrity. People sometimes are bound to write rubbish. I have learnt to take it in my stride but that was very distasteful."
And had further added, “Why would there be a problem? You are mad or what? I love my husband. He is my soulmate, touchwood! I think because I kept quiet, it was blown out of proportion. I am not one of those who really believes that I need to clarify anything to anyone. Unless it is something that I just feel is uncalled for. I always believe ‘agar maine isse zyaada importance diya toh aur bada ho jayega’. That’s the reason I kept quiet and I suddenly saw it snowballing. I even called my PR, who is a very old friend of mine, and I said what the hell is happening, you will have to stop this now, it’s really irritating me."
