Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shetty Kundra is a complete family woman and proof of the same is often found during her interviews, public appearances and her posts on social media. Once again, as she was spotted at an event, the actress revealed how she wanted to be a pilot just like her father. But one incident changed her decision completely. For the unversed, Shilpa and her sister, Shamita Shetty was born to their late father, Surendra Shetty and his loving wife, Sunanda Shetty.
Recently, Shilpa Shetty was spotted at an event, donning a blue dress paired with subtle makeup and a ponytail hairdo. During the event, Shilpa bared her heart out and mentioned she wanted to be a pilot, just like her father. The stunning actress mentioned that her daddy also supported her in fulfilling his dream. She said:
"I wanted to be a pilot, that was a distinct dream for me as my father was a pilot and very few people know that. God bless his soul, he always nurtured this dream of me to be a pilot."

However, in the same conversation, Shilpa talked about the one incident that completely changed her wish to become a pilot. She opened up about the first time she boarded her first flight and understood the height at which a flight flies, she understood the thing was not for her. Elaborating more on it, she mentioned:
"I did nurture that dream too till I went on my first flight and I realise how high it was. And then I was like, You really dont have to be a pilot, you can wear your own wings and fly."
Shilpa and Shamita never miss a chance to share cherishable memories with her daddy. For instance, on Surendra Shetty's sixth death anniversary, Shilpa had taken to her IG handle to share a heartwarming video with a compilation of a few pictures of them together. For the unversed, Shilpa and Shamita's father had passed away six years ago in 2016 due to a massive heart attack. Sharing the video, the actress mentioned that even though he had left for the heavenly abode, but would remain forever in his loved one's hearts. In one picture from the video, Surendra Shetty was spotted posing with his two daughters by his side.

Shilpa loves to teach her cultural practices to her kids, Viaan and Samisha and proof of the same are often found. Earlier, on March 6, 2023, Shilpa had taken to her IG handle and gave a sneak peek into her intimate Holika Dahan celebration with her family. In the video, Shilpa was joined by her mommy, Sunanda Shetty, hubby, Raj Kundra and their kids. The two kids were seen looking in awe at the holy fire while performing the ritual. Alongside it, Shilpa penned a long note mentioning that they used to make small chits and pen down their negative feelings and thoughts, which they later dumped in the holy fire. This is how the Shetty and the Kundra family drain all the negativity from their lives.
