It was on February 21, 2020, Shilpa had given a sweet surprise to her fans by sharing the pleasant news of her baby's arrival. The actress had posted a glimpse of her baby's little hand on her Instagram handle and had written, "Om Shri Ganeshaya Namah! Our prayers have been answered with a miracle. With gratitude in our hearts, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our little Angel, Samisha Shetty Kundra. Born: February 15, 2020. Junior SSK in the house! ‘Sa’ in Sanskrit is “to have”, and ‘Misha’ in Russian stands for “someone like God”. You personify this name - our Goddess Laxmi, and complete our family. On February 15, 2020, Shilpa took to her Instagram handle and shared a beautiful note for her baby girl as she turned one-month-old. The actress shared a beautiful glimpse of Samisha's hand in her, her husband and her son's hand. Along with it, she wrote, "Your first milestone, my princess SAMISHA... Happy One month to you. On March 9, 2020, we had gotten hold of Shilpa Shetty Kundra's pictures with her newborn daughter as she was taking her home. Her husband, Raj Kundra and son, Viaan Raj Kundra had also accompanied them. The family of four was looked adorable as they had posed for the shutterbugs. Shilpa had donned a baby pink dress which was matching with her angel, Samisha's blanket. On the other hand, Raj and Viaan had twinned in a white t-shirt. In an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Shilpa had talked about her second child, and had said, "We had been trying for second child for five years. I had signed Nikamma and had committed my dates to Hungama when I got the news that in February, we were going to be parents again. We cleared our work schedules for the whole month." She had also opened up on her daughter's name, "I came up with it when I was 21. I had always prayed for a daughter."
