Shilpa Shetty had decided to tie the knot with the London-based businessman, Raj Kundra on November 22, 2009, breaking the hearts of many. Their marriage was the talk of the town, but despite all the odds, the couple proved their love and is adored by everyone. Shilpa and Raj’s love story is no less than a Bollywood movie, and together they have made a beautiful paradise for themselves. As Shilpa is observing her 11th Karwa Chauth this year, her hubby, Raj has taken a hilarious dig on the same.
Raj Kundra has been blessing his followers with ‘RajFuntra’ since a few months now. Giving gyaan, wishing people and making fun of every husband-wife relationship has been his forte and showing his humorous side again, Raj has shown what every woman feels at the end of the Karwa Chauth evening. Taking to his IG handle, Raj shared a meme where he has shown ‘what men see vs what women see’ and it’s hilarious. Sharing the picture, Raj also motivated fellow married men to observe a fast for their wives. His caption can be read as “To all you wonderful ladies out there and the caring men wishing you a Happy Karva Chauth. Make sure you drink plenty of water to see you through the day. Well, Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s Karwa Chauth celebrations have always given us the vibe of her true Indian-ness. Last year, she had celebrated the festival with her ‘KC gang’ at Sunita Kapoor’s house. On Karwa Chauth 2018, as Shilpa Shetty was in Sri Lanka, she had shared an adorable Karwa Chauth post for her husband, Raj Kundra. She had written, "Had to put this picture out... Just notice the light in the shadow of the sieve looking like the moon. Considering we couldn't see the moon in Sri Lanka till 9.30 pm." In her post, she had also revealed how her husband, Raj also fasts with her, "WE broke our fast (yes, he fasts too) with a pic of the moon seen in Mumbai sent by a friend. You are my sun, my moon and my universe... Thank you for travelling with me. Tum aaye toh aaya mujhe yaad, gali mein aaj Chaand nikla." Talking about Shilpa and Raj’s love story, on Pinkvilla’s talk show, No More Secrets, when asked how she had fallen in love with her now-husband, Raj Kundra, Shilpa had shared that they too had a ‘Let’s just be friends’ phase. Shilpa had talked about how Raj had tried to impress her, and had said, "He was trying to woo me with Versace bags. In fact, he sent me three bags of the same style in three different colors, and I was astonished. He was constantly throwing hints at me. But, I asked him to give it a full-stop as I want to spoil the friendship and bond we shared. Moreover, I was never going to shift to London, though I was dying to get married at that time (laughs)."
