The handsome hunk of the television industry, Sidharth Shukla was a person, whose personality had made him get the tag of an 'angry young man.' Since the time he had played the role of 'Shiv' in the daily soap, Balika Vadhu, Sidharth had won the hearts of millions of people and became a household name. However, despite all the success and fame, destiny had something else in store for him.
On September 2, 2021, the news of Sidharth Shukla's death had shaken everyone. His death sent shockwaves to people across the industry alike. According to a report of India Today, Bigg Boss 13 winner, Sidharth had died due to cardiac arrest and was declared dead on being taken to the Cooper Hospital in Mumbai. What was more shocking was the fact that the actor passed away at a mere age of 40.

A few moments ago, Sidharth Shukla's alleged girlfriend, Shehnaaz Gill, was seen leaving for the Oshiwara crematorium along with her brother, Shehbaz Badeshah. She looked completely heartbroken and weak. A few minutes back, the deceased, Sidharth Shukla's mortal remains left the Cooper Hospital in Mumbai amidst heavy police duty. He was taken to the Oshiwara crematorium in Mumbai.
As Sidharth's family was waiting to receive his mortal remains, the ambulance was made ready to take him to the crematorium. While the news of his death is heartbreaking, his friends from the industry have already started visiting his home. Arjun Bijlani, Vikas Gupta, Aly Goni and Sidharth's Bigg Boss 13 best friend, Asim Riaz were spotted entering his building. His alleged ex-girlfriend, Rashami Desai, Arti Singh, Nikki Tamboli, Rakhi Sawant, Prince Narula and his wife, Yuvika Chaudhary, also reached his home. Sidharth's alleged ex-girlfriend, Shehnaaz's Gill's brother, Shehbaz Badeshah, was also snapped by the shutterbugs outside the late actor's apartment.
Sidharth Shukla was a Brahmakumari follower and was a regular visitor at the Brahmakumari centre at Vile Parle. Tapaswini Ben from Brahmakumaris shared with the ETimes that Sidharth's last rites will be according to the Brahmakumari rituals. She told the portal, "He will be taken home from Cooper Hospital at 11 am and we will be meditating first and then other rituals will be done. Sidharth followed the Brahmakumari and studied the daily discourse so his last journey will have all of it."
After the news of Sidharth Shukla's death broke all the headlines, social media went into a frenzy with celebs showing their disbelief and showering their heartfelt condolences. Sidharth's Dil Se Dil Tak co-star, Rashami Desai, Rahul Vaidya, Gauahar Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Madhuri Dixit, Manoj Bajpayee, Sonu Sood, Kapil Sharma, and many others expressed their grief and mourned the death of the actor at such an early age.

While most of the people found it very difficult to accept his death, his alleged girlfriend, Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth's mother are going through one of the most difficult time of their lives. Shehnaaz and Sidharth had met during their stint in Bigg Boss 13, and the Punjabi actress had lost her heart to him. While it was a one-sided love on Shehnaaz's end, Sidharth had always considered her as a good friend. In fact, they shared a very cordial bond even after the show had ended.
Rahul Mahajan, who had rushed to the Cooper Hospital after hearing the news of Sidharth's death had stated his mother's condition to the ETimes. He had said, "She had tears in her eyes but she was strong and told me 'death is obvious and but said itna jaldi nahi hona chahiye tha.' She is a mother and how can any mother see her son go away in her lifetime." In fact, he had also told the portal that Shehnaaz has gone pale since his death.
After the reports of Sidharth's death came out, Sidharth Shukla's fans were worried about his alleged girlfriend, Shehnaaz Gill. Some reports stated that it was Shehnaaz, who had found Sidharth in a dead state. Whereas, some reports stated that Shehnaaz had left her shooting after hearing the news of Sidharth's death. Shehnaaz is believed to have been with Sidharth when he had breathed his last. According to her father, Santokh Singh's statements, Sidharth died on Shehnaaz's lap after feeling "uneasy" in the night.
