It was inside the Bigg Boss 13 house that Shehnaaz had fallen in love with Sidharth and was always seen expressing her love for him, while he had always called her a ‘good friend’. With Sidharth Shukla’s death, the nation’s heart cried for Shehnaaz Gill.
Sidharth Shukla’s death on September 2, 2021, at the age of 40, had taken away Shehnaaz Gill's happiness. From Sidharth breathing his last in Shehnaaz’s lap to her pale and distressed state at his funeral, it all had narrated the story of their love. Now, in a conversation with SpotboyE, Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 contestant, Abhinav Shukla shared the condition of Shehnaaz Gill after Sidharth Shukla’s death. He revealed that he and his wife, Rubina Dilaik met Shehnaaz’s mother, who shared an update about her. He said, “I pray and wish all the strength to Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla’s family. I and Rubina met her mother and she is coping well. I pray that god assuages their anguish.”
On September 3, 2021, with teary eyes, the nation had bid adieu to Sidharth Shukla’s mortal remains. Everyone was worried about Shehnaaz Gill and when she had made an appearance, it had broken everyone’s hearts into pieces. Shehnaaz was seen leaving for the Oshiwara crematorium along with her brother, Shehbaz Badesha. She had looked heartbroken and weak, and her miserable state still bothers everyone.

Shehnaaz Gill had always dreamt of marrying Sidharth Shukla, and on his demise, there were reports that the alleged couple was all set to tie the knot next year, in 2022. A fan page of ‘Sidnaaz’ had shared that a close friend of Shehnaaz had revealed that they were supposed to tie the knot next year. In another report, it was mentioned that Sidharth and Shehnaaz were engaged and were going to shift to their new house with his mother. They had plans to get married in December 2021 and had even booked JW Marriot for the wedding. Well, if this is true, it is heartbreaking!
In an interview with ETimes, Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill's Bigg Boss 13 co-contestant, Abu Malik, had mentioned that Shehnaaz wanted him to ask Sidharth to marry her and play Cupid between the two. Remembering the exact date, Abu Malik had told the portal, "Shehnaaz told me this on March 22, 2020- I think that this was just a day before the first lockdown."
For the unversed, Abhinav Shukla and late Sidharth Shukla had started their careers together with Gladrags Manhunt and Mega Model Contest in 2004.
