In a grand two-day wedding affair, Sheena and Rohit exchanged their wedding vows amidst family and friends. Sheena and Rohit looked like a perfect ‘made for each other’ couple in their wedding avatars and soon after their wedding, their fans were eagerly waiting for their post-wedding look. But before revealing her first post-wedding look, we have a lovely picture for our readers from Sheena Bajaj and Rohit Purohit’s wedding which was shared by their official wedding photographers, CoolBluez photography. Captioning the beautiful twirling capture of Sheena and Rohit, they wrote, “And TV's favorite Disney Star is now married!! #coolbluezbride @imsheenabajaj @rohitpurohit08”.
Coming back to Sheena’s first post-wedding look, the 24-year-old actress posted Instagram stories wherein she is seen enjoying a long drive with her husband, Rohit and in one of those stories, she gave her fans a close-up capture. With a bindi, sindoor, chooda and a heart-shaped wedding ring, Sheena looked beautiful as a nayi naveli dulhan. Here’s a screenshot of her Insta story:
Confirming their wedding and revealing the details about the same, Sheena Bajaj shared with The Times of India, "The wedding is on the 22nd and the pre-wedding functions, including mehndi, haldi, sangeet and engagement, will be held on the previous day. All functions will be held in Jaipur.” Rohit had further added, “We plan to follow both the traditions- Marwari and Punjabi." In June 2018, the rumours about Rohit and Sheena’s breakup started doing the rounds in the media and Bombay Times quoted a source as saying, “Sheena and Rohit have been going through a difficult time since few months. They have been having differences of opinion that has led to their relationship taking a turn for the worse.” Sheena’s Mariam Khan - Reporting Live co-star, Avinash Mishra was speculated to be the reason behind her breakup with Rohit.
The source further added, “Rohit is upset ever since he got whiff of this alleged affair, which is, of course, a figment of someone’s imagination. He has stopped taking Sheena’s calls, leaving her with no chance to clarify her stance.” When a media portal contacted Sheena, she refuted her link-up conjectures and stated, “It’s an insult to my character when people speculate about my five-year-long relationship with Rohit and link me with my co-actor. There is absolutely nothing between Avinash and me. We are just co-actors. If I talk to a guy, it doesn’t mean I am dating him. Besides, I don’t care about these rumours as I can’t shut idle minds.”
She further added, “I have been open about my relationship and if I am dating someone, I would talk about it myself. It’s normal to bond with your co-actors, so what special or different am I doing to be caught in a controversy like this?” Avinash too slammed such reports and was quoted as saying, “It’s not true. Sheena and I are just friends.”
Later in an interview, Sheena revealed that she had always been sure of Rohit. She had shared, "I get really affected when Rohit and I fight, which results in unpleasant rumours. The only thing I have always been sure of is that I want to be with Rohit at any cost.
