The upcoming episode of Shark Tank India Season 2 is prepping up for some high-voltage drama. In a promo video shared by the channel, we can see the gorgeous television actress, Parul Gulati, gracing the stage to pitch her hair extension brand, Nishhair, to the Sharks. Elaborating the usefulness of her product to those who have less hair and lesser money to afford costly hair implants, the actress made an earnest pitch to the judges. The actress further quoted her asking price at Rs. 1 crore for 2% equity.

As soon as the glimpse of the show's upcoming episode was shared on social media, the netizens took immediate notice of it and began to slam the show. They disliked the idea of a previously established and rather popular actor like Parul Gulati taking part in the show instead of the needy small businessmen and entrepreneurs. Taking to the post's comment section, they began trolling the show's makers for the same. While someone prominently called it a scripted show, others highlighted the favouritism of the makers to incorporate big names like Parul to increase the TRP of the show.

When a LinkedIn user received a hate mail after posting factual details of the losses of the judges of Shark Tank

A few months back, on January 16, 2023, a LinkedIn user, Ankit Uttam, shared a lengthy report highlighting the drawback of the show for inviting judges who have faced huge losses in their companies. Elaborating on how he never liked the Indian counterpart of a prestigious and realistic US show, Ankit penned the exact figures of the losses each of the ‘sharks’ have encountered. However, this move of his was not appreciated, and soon after, he received hate mail from another user and a die-hard fan of the show, who cursed him for his blatant display of nonsensical facts.
