Television actor, Sharad Malhotra was in the headlines for quite some time due to reports which claimed he was having troubles in his marriage with Ripci Bhatia. For the unversed, the Banoo Main Teri Dulhan and Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki actor tied the knot with the Delhi-based fashion designer on April 20, 2019. Since then, they have been living a merry life together. However, some weeks back, rumours had surfaced on the internet that Sharad and Ripci's marital bliss was hit by some troubles best known to them. Now, Sharad slammed those reports and also strongly reacted to it.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Sharad Malhotra strongly reacted to the reports which claimed he has trouble in his marriage with Ripci Bhatia. Elaborating on the same, the actor stated that if anyone pokes their nose into his house, he would also do the same without following any protocols. He said:
“It’s very simple. It’s my house, it’s my family, it’s my space. Nobody gets into it. Ya toh aap mere ghar mein ghuse, toh main aapke ghar mein ghuske mujhe joh karna woh mein karunga. It’s as simple as that. Mein aapke ghar mein ghus raha hu, nahi ghus raha hu. Toh aap mere ghar mein mat ghusiye.”

In the same conversation, Sharad added that people love getting inside every facet of their onscreen heroes' lives. However, Sharad mentioned that the fans should clearly know where to stop. Sharad also mentioned how someone shouldn't barge into anyone's private space and leave at least some personal things to take their shape. He added:
“Aapko mujhe har ek character mein dekhna hai, different character mein dekhna hai, aap dekhiye mein dikhaunga. But you should know where to draw the line. It’s humanity. Isme koi actor, non-actor ki baat nahi ho rahi hai. Ek basic courtesy hoti hai ki aapko pata hai ki aapko kaha line draw karni hai. Agar aapko kuch personal karna bhi ho toh mujhe puchiye. You have no right to barge into an house. That’s my space. Koi mere ghar mein phirse ghusega toh mein phirse nahi chodunga.”
Earlier, a report in the Hindustan Times stated that a source close to Sharad and Ripci stated to the portal that the duo are facing probable problems in their marital bliss. The source was also quoted saying that the duo's individualistic personalities have created a distance between them. Moreover, their extreme focus on their respective careers and travelling has led to turbulence between them. However, Sharad and Ripci had also reacted to the report. In a conversation with the Hindustan Times, Ripci denied having any issues in her and Sharad's marital bliss and mentioned that they are counting the days to celebrate their 5th love anniversary. She also thanked god for keeping her and Sharad's marriage safe. On the other hand, Sharad refuted the rumours by releasing a statement dismissing all such reports on his marriage.

Earlier, in an interview with the ETimes, Sharad Malhotra was asked about embracing fatherhood along with his darling wife, Ripci Bhatia. To this, he shared that both of them were extremely busy with work and would wait for some time before taking the plunge to become parents. He also mentioned that the couple loves kids and would like to experience the same in a few months. However, he didn't forget to mention their four-legged baby, a golden retriever, which Sharad and Ripci have adopted soon after marriage.
