Yesterday, on May 02, 2019, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor gave couple goals as they stepped out for a romantic dinner date together. More so, what made everyone go ‘aww’ was the fact that the couple twinned in white for the date night. In an interview with Rajeev Masand in 2018, Shahid had revealed how he manages to stay grounded. To this, he had credited his darling wifey Mira for the same and was quoted as saying, “I got lucky. I married Mira. She’s as normal as it gets. We kind of hit it off and decided to get into an arranged marriage. By God’s grace it’s been wonderful, the last three years, and she’s been a huge part of that for me.” Shahid had further gone on to add, “I’m very simple as a person. In an interview with Famously Filmfare, Shahid had talked about the first time he saw his muse, and had shared, “It was a lovely evening and light was falling on her face. She just turned towards me and smiled and said something. I was like she is so young, but I like her, I thought if something is wrong with me.” He had also once revealed that they met only for 3-4 times before taking the plunge, “Mira and I never dated. We just met three to four times and decided to get married. I was about to start shooting for Udta Punjab when I met first met Mira. I remember I went to her house for the first time and I was in the Tommy zone.”
Praising her husband, Mira had once told a leading online portal, “Shahid is an extremely loving and supportive husband. It comes naturally to him. The smallest things he does make me smile and feel so loved, like when I wake him up in the middle of the night with a foot cramp and he soothes it. Or how hands-on he is with Misha and has really made sure she doesn’t feel the lack of my attention and presence, especially in these last few weeks where I can’t pick her up or play very much with her. In the same interview, she had also revealed the beautiful part of being pregnant, “There is no one thing as such; the entire process is just so special. Being able to bring a life into this world, feel it grow inside, and being able to connect with the baby before it has actually even arrived is surreal. And this time it’s been so interesting to see how Misha has been through the entire process.
