Even though couples try to avoid fights and arguments in a relationship, it is something inevitable. But it also helps a couple in keeping their relationship healthy. There are times when couples don’t agree on something and are not on the same page, which eventually lead to arguments. Sometimes the fights are resolved the very moment but sometimes, it lasts days or weeks. Latter is the case with B-town’s most-beloved couple, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor, who has been reigning our hearts for almost four years now. It was on July 7, 2015, when romantic boy-next-door of B-town, Shahid Kapoor married a ‘girl from another world’, Mira Rajput and had embarked on his journey of ‘happily ever after’ with her. Shahid and Mira became the poster couple for arranged marriage as they made us believe that shaadi ke baad pyaar ho sakta hai. Shahid and Mira are blessed with two kids, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor, and it is always a treat to get an insight of the Kapoor family.
Shahid Kapoor appeared on Neha Dhupia’s celeb chat show, BFFs With Vogue, with his Kabir Singh co-star, Kiara Advani which was telecasted on air on June 16, 2019. Shahid spoke about his fights with wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor and said on the show, "I usually get flustered when my wife and I have a fight. It bothers me and I take time to get over it. It's once in a couple of months, but when we do fight, but ours lasts a long time, like 15 days. You know it (the tension) is there and you finally talk it out."
Shahid Kapoor revealed that he's usually the one to make up first and he believes that it’s important to disagree and talk out the difference in opinion. Elaborating on the same, Shahid stated, "It's good to fight. It's important to hold your own. It's important to disagree and deal with each other's differences and resolve the problem. Problems are going to happen, and you have to get past that."
On the same show, Shahid Kapoor candidly spoke about his ex-girlfriends, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. When asked why he didn’t attend Kareena and Saif Ali Khan’s wedding, Shahid replied, “About Kareena, I don’t remember, it was a while ago. I don’t think I was invited.” On the other hand, Shahid had attended his ex, Priyanka’s December wedding with Nick Jonas. Speaking about his 9-month-old son, Zain Kapoor, the proud daddy, Shahid Kapoor stated, "He is so good looking; I am fanboying him all day." When Neha Dhupia asked him, "Is it like a mini-me moment for you?", he denied the same and remarked, "Not at all. He is way better looking than me. He has got (features from) both of us (Mira and me). Because he is a boy and he was born with a lot of hair, everybody thinks he looks similar to me, but actually, I think his features are a lot more like Mira's. He has got sharper features which is nice for a boy and I think both of them are like a little bit of a mixture of both of us. But he is just really good looking."
Talking about his bond is different with Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor said, "I don't think it can be explained. Everybody who has a daughter will understand what I mean and with Zain, it's more like a buddy vibe like even though he is just eight months old but I still buddy him, and with Misha it's like, it's different."
On BFFs with Vogue S02, Shahid Kapoor had appeared with his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor and they had revealed some inside scoops about their married life. Recalling the time when Mira threw Shahid out of the house when he was shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmaavat, the star-wife had said, “He would come home at 8 in the morning and wake up at 2 in the afternoon. I completely get that he needs silence during those hours because it has been a tough night, but Misha is at her best at that point — wide awake and playful. Shahid wouldn’t say anything but I know it’s going to tire him and I know I can’t put too many restrictions on her either. That was getting to me at a point and that’s when I told him that I can’t take this anymore.”
In one segment which is called the 'scary spice', Mira Rajput Kapoor was asked, “What's your favourite position in bed?”. While Shahid hesitated and wanted his wife, Mira to skip the question, the Mrs chose to answer it instead. She had retorted, "I think he is a control freak. He is always telling me what to do." On the work front, Shahid Kapoor will next be seen in Kabir Singh, co-starring, Kiara Advani which is slated for a June 21, 2019 release.
