Shaheer Sheikh and Erica Fernandes have been in the news quite lately owing to their alleged relationship. In an interaction with The Times of India earlier, Erica had recently cleared the air, “Shaheer and I were good friends. We shared great chemistry because of our off-screen rapport. It’s important to enjoy a comfort level with your co-actor. It is not true that we were in a relationship, but I don’t deny the friendship. I would love to hang out with Shaheer even now, but I am busy shooting.”
Shaheer Sheikh, it must be noted here, was earlier dating an Indonesian actress and model, Ayu Ting Ting. And guess what? Shaheer Sheikh has now apologised to his ex-girlfriend Ayu Ting Ting. Shaheer is in Indonesia these days and after one of his shows there, Shaheer shared a picture with Ayu and wrote, "I guess to have a clear heart we need to accept, forgive and be forgiven. Thank you for forgiving me and gifting me closure. Thank you. @ayutingting92." This is so mature, right?
Shaheer and Ayu dated for five months in 2015 in Indonesia itself. But eventually, they broke off. Cut-to 2017, his relationship stories with Erica Fernandes started making the headlines. Erica had then taken to her Instagram account and clarified everything. The Kasautu Zindagi Kay 2 actress had written, “I would finally want to break my silence here on all that i hear and see and come across on SNS. This is a humble request to please stop making accusations at the cost of ones character. The relationship we both share is that of friendship and i do not want anyone insulting it or putting false claims to it. Cooking up stuff, defaming someone and insulting someone publicly just to fill spaces, get hits and sell stories is very disrespectful. In a recent interaction with BollywoodLife, Shaheer had opened up about his relationship status with Erica Fernandes. Shaheer was quoted as saying, "Abhi aisa kuchh nahi hai. According to reports, I am dating a couple of women and I have two to three wives around the world. Erica has herself denied our relationship, and expected people to respect us. But then, that's the hazard of our profession."
Shaheer Sheikh also went on to reveal his wedding plans and was quoted as saying, “My parents have tried everything, photos dikhaaye hain bahut baar. I remember this one time when I was out shopping with my sister, and a girl met me at the mall, which was secretly arranged by my mom (laughs!). My parents, who are currently in Mumbai, have been breathing down my neck for me to settle down. They have vowed that they won’t go back home until I get married." Adding further, he had remarked, "I can take the plunge only when I feel it from within. I can’t do it just because the family, society and people around want me to."
