A relationship between a mother and a daughter is the most treasured and trusted one. From raising her two children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan on her own to getting Sara dressed up for her abba, Saif Ali Khan’s second marriage, Amrita Singh has always been an exemplar of a perfect mother. Time and again, Sara has expressed her undying love for her mother, Amrita Singh and once had expressed her intention to live with her mother for the rest of her life. The mother-daughter duo shares a special camaraderie with each other and Sara’s Instagram handle is proof of the same.
On November 9, 2021, Amrita Singh turned a year older and Sara penned a hearmelting wish for her. She took to her IG handle and shared stunning pictures with her mom, Amrita and brother, Ibrahim from their recent vacation to the Maldives and wrote, “Happy Birthday to my whole world. Thank you for being my mirror, strength and inspiration. I lo-blue the most.” In the pictures, the trio can be seen twinning in the shades of blue. Sara also shared a collage on her IG stories with some adorable moments with her mommy, Amrita.
Sara Ali Khan is undoubtedly the carbon copy of her mother and one scroll of her Instagram profile is enough to prove that. Sara Ali Khan had spent her lockdown with mom, Amrita Singh and brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan in Mumbai. Speaking about her lockdown experience and what that period had made her realise, Sara had said in an interview with Mid-Day, "Sitting at home for nine months can be difficult for someone as ambitious as me, but there's a learning in everything. I used to have 500 things on my to-do list, believing that [achieving them] will make me happy. The lockdown made me realise that waking up every morning with my mother makes me happy." Sara considers herself fortunate to be introduced to comedy by the best in business, David Dhawan. Speaking about her genes, Sara had continued, "I am not as spontaneous as my dad or my mother. It's all about reacting to what the other person says. It's a difficult genre to crack. Varun helped me improve my comic timing. He is much more experienced in this genre."
