The sibling relationship is nothing less than a roller-coaster ride. While the younger one is the guinea pig of the experiments that elder one wants to pull off, they also get away with everything as the latter is expected to be more responsible and careful ones. Sure, the elder ones can play the seniority card whenever they want, they also get incredibly jealous of the younger ones for the special treatment they get. This somewhat summarises the relationship shared between the elder one, Sara Ali Khan and her younger brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan. Diwali is the festival of lights in India, which is celebrated for the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. It is the festival which gives us a reason to be joyous again. While Diwali 2020 was a little different and low-key sans the larger-than-life card parties and dinners, what remained the same for Amrita Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan was their family photoshoot. Remember how Amrita and Sara had twinned in red and Ibrahim had complemented the mother-daughter duo in dark blue? Sharing some quirky and beautiful pictures, Sara had written, “Diwali Hai. Lots and lots of love, luck and laughter from my two safer, eco-friendlier but equally loud pattakas.”
Amrita Singh and Sara Ali Khan twinned for this year’s Diwali photoshoot too while Ibrahim Ali Khan complemented them perfectly. But more than their Diwali photoshoot pictures, it was the one that grabbed our attention in which Amrita hugged Ibrahim and Sara’s reaction to it was every elder sibling ever! Sara brooded over Ibrahim being mamma’s boy as Amrita leaned on him for a cosy click and the 25-year-old’s insecurity for mommy’s love was evident in her expressions. Sharing the Diwali photoshoot pictures, Sara captioned it with a couple of emojis instead of her usual Sara ki shayari.

A few months ago, when Sara Ali Khan was probed by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for the drug nexus in B-town and her father, Saif Ali Khan was rumoured to have distanced himself from her, Amrita Singh and Ibrahim Ali Khan had stood as pillars of strength for the 25-year-old starlet. Amidst the whole scenario, Ibrahim had shared a note on ‘going through hell’ on his IG handle and quoting former UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill, he had written, "If you're going through hell, keep going." When Sara’s film, Coolie No. 1 had gotten a release date on Amazon Prime, to cheer for his sister, Ibrahim had shared the poster on his IG story and had written, “Let’s go @saraalikhan95 @varundvn” atop it.
To mark Raksha Bandhan 2020, Sara Ali Khan had penned Sara ki shayari for her brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan with the pictures from their Goa vacation. Sara had captioned them as "Post Rakhi bonding vibe To match with me I had to bribe My younger brother- begged him to join my tribe But his day out was fun- he says 'I can't describe' To see more please like share and subscribe #doubletrouble #twinning #winning." On Bhai Dooj 2020, Sara had shared a couple of pictures from their Diwali photoshoot and had written, “Wishing all brothers and sisters a happy Bhai Dooj. Missing you my Iggy Potter. Can’t wait to bully you again” in the caption.
In a throwback interview with Hello! magazine, Ibrahim Ali Khan had talked about his bond with sister, Sara Ali Khan. He had remarked, “The relationship we (Sara and I) share is just perfect – we rarely fight and that’s perhaps because we have a five-year gap between us. On occasions that we do, it’s over the stupidest things. We are very close and love each other a lot.” (Also Read: Taimur Ali Khan Piggybacks On Abba, Saif Ali Khan In Dharamshala, Kareena Kapoor Khan Gives Glimpses)
