But for Sara, we have hardly seen Bollywood actresses talking about their crushes like her and it is so amazing! While the star daughter has been going on and on about her crush in various interviews, looks like Kartik, on the other hand, is taking the matter slowly. While we wouldn’t be surprised if one day, we found Sara and Kartik coming out together post a coffee date, the latter raised a lot of eyebrows when he was spotted in the car with soon to debutante, Ananya Panday. While Kartik rubbished all rumours by saying, “People say all sorts of things if we have lunch or dinner together. It was just one dinner. I find it strange to read such things about myself.”
It really does feel bad when we see our crushes go on dinners with some other girl. In the similar lines, how will Sara react to Kartik and Ananya’s increasing dating rumours? In an interaction on Famously Filmfare, the Kedarnath actress was quoted as saying, “I find Kartik cute. It's a Sara-Sara thing. So how does it matter if he finds some other person whose name starts and ends with A cute. That's good for him.” At yet another interview, when Sara was asked to DM Kartik Aaryan for a date, she had said, “No, no, no... how much! I have said it everywhere. Itna bhi desparate nahi. Mom said you must wait. So, I am waiting!”
It all started at Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan, season 6, when during one of the most-awaited and fun segments of the show, rapid fire, Karan asked Sara the actor that she would like to date. To this, Sara at once replied, "I want to marry Ranbir Kapoor. I don't want to date him. I want to date Kartik Aaryan." Karan had further added, “I’m sure he wouldn’t mind dating you. At the Lokmat Most Stylish Awards 2018, held in Mumbai on December 19, 2018, Simmba co-stars, Ranveer and Sara and the latter’s crush, Kartik Aaryan were all present under the same roof. As soon as Ranveer Singh spotted Kartik, he at once, took him and introduced him to Sara and he didn’t stop at just that! At the same chat show, came out another fearless confession by Sara wherein she admitted to have dated Maharashtra Chief Minister’s grandson, Veer Pahariya. She was quoted as saying, “He's [Veer Pahariya] the only one I have dated. I have had no other boyfriends in my life." When further asked if her heart has ever been broken, the 23-year-old actress stated, “Hasn't happened. My heart has not broken. It is all good, I promise.”
Kartik is making all the right buzz for himself with the trailer launch of his soon-to-release film, Luka Chuppi with Kriti Sanon. At the launch, Kartik shared that his mom is super-friendly with all his exes and stated, “Whenever I get into a relationship, my mother ends up befriending my girl. And later if something goes wrong between me and my girlfriend, my mom continues to remain friends with her and then that gets really awkward between me my mom and my girlfriend or ex girlfriend (Laughs). So that has always been a problem. Live-in has never been the case for me as yet but I would wish to explore it."
Kartik hit the right chord in the heart of his audiences just after his first film, Pyar Ka Punchnama. Speaking about finding ‘his kind of girl’ back then, Kartik was quoted as saying, “Main abhi bhi dhoond hi raha hoon. But most importantly, I’m concentrating on my career. Also, I am choosy about everything in my life, whether it’s a film or a girl you date.
