Bollywood actress, Sara Ali Khan is currently busy promoting her upcoming film, Gaslight. The film is already termed an important film in Sara’s career as her last three films, Atrangi Re, Coolie No. 1, and Love Aaj Kal, didn’t perform quite well at the box office. Although Gaslight is released on the OTT platform, DisneyPlus Hotstar, its success or failure can still significantly impact Sara’s acting career, as per multiple critics. The film's trailer has excited viewers, and even Sara is looking quite promising as per what we have seen so far in the little glimpses.
In an interview with The Hindu, Sara Ali Khan opened up about her upcoming film, Gaslight and talked about her experience of working with Vikrant Massey, Chitrangda Seth, Rahul Dev, and many more. The actress was also asked about being referred to as a princess by a lot of people and media because she is the daughter of the Nawab of Pataudi, Saif Ali Khan. In response to it, Sara admitted that she doesn’t associate herself as a ‘royal’. The diva clearly stated that she had lived most of her life as a quintessential girl and had no idea what words like royal and princess meant. She said:
"I find it ridiculous when people think that. I don’t associate myself as a royal."

Further, in the same interview, Sara Ali Khan recalled her younger days and revealed how she had lived most of her life in Juhu with her actress-mother, Amrita Singh. The actress added that she used to go to Bandra in order to meet her father, Saif Ali Khan, who was living there.
Opening up about her simple lifestyle and not living like a princess of Pataudi, Sara Ali Khan shared how she spent most of her holidays in Kedarnath, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Sharing how her life wasn’t royal, Sara shared that she doesn’t know why people think that she lived a royal life like a princess because her father is Saif Ali Khan, Nawab of Pataudi. She said:
"I’ve lived in Juhu in Mumbai most of my life with my mother. I go to Bandra to meet my dad. I holiday in Himachal Pradesh and Kedarnath and Jammu and Kashmir. Like seriously, I don’t know what royal means."

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Sara Ali Khan once opened up about her father, Saif Ali Khan and revealed how she used to blackmail her daddy to get some things. Opening up about her cute antics, Sara shared how she used to play the victim card to get things done by him. The actress added that even today she informs Saif about the things that she wanted and the cute blackmailing is still going on. Sharing about the same, she said:
"Sometimes, we played the victim card. Like the obvious way, in my family dynamic. Like, 'Abba is not here mummy, give this to us,' at the age of 11, or, 'Abba, you don't live with us, give this to us,' at the age of 15. Replace 11 and 15 with 26."
On the professional front, Sara Ali Khan’s upcoming film, Gaslight will premiere on DisneyPlus Hotstar on March 31, 2023.
