One such celebrity, who is locked down like many others is an upcoming film, 83’ star, Saqib Saleem and for him, this quarantine is a little bit more depressing than the others. The actor is celebrating his 32nd birthday today but isn’t going to break the rules by going out and has assured his fans that he’s happy being locked down on his birthday at home. The actor is currently spending time with his beloved sister, Huma Qureshi in self-quarantine and talked about the way he is going to celebrate his birthday.
Recently, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, the actor talked about the fact that he’ll not be able to meet his family, friends, or colleagues this time around but admitted that he’s comfortable about it. He said, “Taking note of the current situation, I think it’s important that we keep our health and safety first. This time around I will be having a quiet birthday but I am still excited to celebrate it with my sister, Huma. When asked that if having a family member with you is a huge positive, the actor immediately agreed and revealed the perks of it, "My sister helps to do things together. We have started playing a lot of chess. Plus, she’s a good cook, therefore she’s been cooking for both of us. Having someone with you in a time like this is extremely important.” Lastly, Saqib talked about his views about the on-going coronavirus pandemic and revealed what every citizen should do at this moment to save the future of humanity. He stated, “All of us should stay indoors, as we have still not found an antidote. The point is to adhere to all the things the government has said. Now is not the time to be on the streets, but to sit at home! This is how we can take the coronavirus situation head-on.”
Well, not just Saqib but his sister, Huma Qureshi is also trying her best to make the most out of her quarantine time and had shared videos of her cooking a delicious meal on March 26, 2020. The actress had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a video of the same along with a small caption that could be read as “Just made my dad proud today .. by cooking dinner in true blue ‘Qureshi style‘ ..
