Veteran actor, Sanjay Dutt has been winning our hearts for decades with his acting stint, great personality and much more. However, life hasn't been very easy for this Bollywood actor. From his tragic first marriage to his controversial life story, Sanjay Dutt has always been leading the headlines for something or the other. For the unversed, Sanjay Dutt had tied the knot for the third time with Maanayata Dutt on February 11, 2008.
Recently, Sanjay Dutt's film, KGF Chapter 2 had hit the theatres and has been garnering a lot of praise from the audience. However, the actor has a lineup of works in front of him. While on the other hand, his wife, Maanayata and their kids, Shahraan and Iqra are staying in Dubai apart from their father. In a recent media interaction, Sanjay Dutt talked about the same.

In an interview with ETimes, Sanjay Dutt revealed his family's sudden move to Dubai wasn't planned, and it just happened on the way. For those who don't know, Sanjay's wife, Maanayata and their twin kids, Shahraan and Iqra had moved to Dubai before the first lockdown in 2020. Talking about why they had moved, the actor said:
“They could have absolutely been here, but I see that they love it there. They like their school and their activities. My wife’s business has settled there. We’ve all grown up here and we’ve grown up just fine while being around all the film business. Hum log sab idhar hi bade huye. Sending them there wasn’t a planned move. It just happened on its own. Maanayata was doing her own business in Dubai, it clicked and she went, and the kids went with her.”
Further going into the interview, the Khalnayak actor mentioned that he is quite happy that his kids are studying there and he gets to fly to them. As soon as he gets done with the film commitments, he flies out to spend some quality with them. He even mentioned that he would be there during their summer holidays.

Sanjay Dutt is a perfect family man, and he loves to spend time with his family and be with his kids. Talking about how difficult it has been to be away from them and how for him it's their happiness over everything, the actor shared:
“I came around that when I saw them happy there. My daughter is learning to play the piano, she’s also a good sprinter and is into gymnastics. My son plays for a junior professional football team. Their happiness is above everything else for me.”
