For every child, their daddies are the superhero with superpowers. While there was a time when fathers were considered a scary being, now, they are considered more of a friend. They get us ready for the big bad world outside and they never sugar-coat their words and often say what they really feel. And an exactly similar love is shared between ace tennis player, Sania Mirza's son, Izhaan Mirza Malik and his daddy, Shoaib Maik. However, the family are not together because of the lockdown due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Currently, the entire world is scared because of the pandemic and Sania is no different. However, her trouble is increased as she is away from her hubby, Shoaib Malik. Amidst it, the tennis play is making sure to ace as Izhaan's mommy and give him the time he needs. She often shares snippets of her baby, Izhaan Mirza Malik's life on her and her son's Instagram handles.
On June 28, 2020, Sania took to her Instagram handle and posted a hilarious video of her conversation with her son. In the video, we can see Sania asking her son, Izhaan the characteristics of the names she is taking. So, she started with dog, to which, Izhaan said, 'bow, bow bow''. Following which, she asked him what does Asad khalu (Anam Mirza's husband and Mohammad Azharuddin's son) does, to which the boy responds by showing the sign of a boundary. Sania then asks "what does Baba (Shoaib Malik) do?" and Izhaan showed the 'six' sign. The funny video was captioned as "Asad khaalu hits a 4 but Baba hits a 6. He might be a bit biased." In an interview with the Indian Express, Sania had shared how the COVID-19 pandemic has separated her from her husband, Shoaib. She had said, "So he got stuck in Pakistan, I got stuck here. That was very difficult to deal with because we have a small child. We don’t know when Izhaan will be able to see his father again. It’s as basic as that." She had further shared, "We are both pretty positive and practical people. He has a mother who is over 65 and by herself, so he needs to be there. So in the end, it worked out best that he was there with her. We hope we are healthy and come out of this on the right side of it." Sania also talked about her son, Izhaan and keeping him away from the virus. She said, "I don’t have anxiety problems but a couple of nights ago, I was having anxiety out of nothing. I was lying in bed and thinking of things because there’s so much uncertainty. Having a toddler in the house, you don’t know how to protect yourself, how to protect your child, you have parents who are older. So, you are not really thinking about work or tennis."
