It all started with Sania Mirza’s sister, Anam Mirza’s birthday on February 24, 2019, when Asad had taken to Instagram and posted a beautiful picture along with a wish for her. The picture had Anam and Asad twin in different shades of blue, as she held onto his chest as they posed together for a click. Asad’s birthday wish could be read as, “Happy birthday to the most amazing person in my life.” It was then we had realised that something lovey-dovey was brimming between Asad and Anam, which the duo had indirectly announced only later.
Asad shares a warm bond with the Mirzas’ and an even special camaraderie with his ladylove, Anam Mirza’s sister, Sania Mirza. And today (November 15, 2019), being the ace sportsperson’s 33rd birthday, Asad took to Instagram and posted a beautiful picture with Sania, along with a warm wish that was enough to make us yearn for a jiju like him! The same could be read as “Found a sister in a sister-in-law. Happy Birthday, Api. You’re a perfect example of an amazing sportsperson and an even better human being.”
Anam Mirza too took to Instagram and posted a throwback picture of the Mirza family, comprising of herself, sister, Sania Mira, mom, Nasima Mirza and dad, Imran Mirza to wish her. With Sania and her mother, Nasima’s wish colliding with one another, her sister wrote, “Happy birthday to both my lifelines. Baba and I are constantly looking out for you both (clearly) #MyMamma #MyApi.” Sania’s father too, posted a collage with his daughter and wife, wishing them on their special day. Sania Mirza’s BFF, Bollywood director, Farah Khan had taken to Instagram and posted a heartfelt wish for her, penned, “Friendship is so weird.. you just pick a human uv met n ur like” yep... I Like this one”.. n u do stuff with them. So glad we picked each other... Happy birthday @mirzasaniar .. love u more than ul know.”
So heartfelt, aren’t they? Coming back to Asad, he is the son of former Indian cricket team captain, Mohammad Azharuddin. Soon after Asad and Anam openly started posting pictures with one another on Instagram, Sania Mirza had posted a beautiful picture with her soon-to-be, jija ji, Asad. Looking beautiful, a single word written by Sania as the caption had spoken a thousand words. The same could be read as “Family”, which was backed by a heart emoji.
Soon after, Asad had also shared a beautiful picture with both the Mirza sisters and had written, "In between two gorgeous women". This suggests how well the Mirzas' have accepted Asad! It was only a while back when Sania Mirza, in an interview with The Times of India, had confirmed that Anam and Asad are indeed dating and get married in December, this year. Sania had shared, “She (Anam) is actually getting married in December. We just came back from her bachelorette trip in Paris. We are really excited. She is marrying a lovely boy. His name is Asad and he happens to be the son of Mohammad Azharuddin and we are really excited about it.”
