First, Sana Khan had shocked the nation with the news of bidding farewell to the showbiz, and later, it was her wedding announcement with a maulana that had stunned everyone. Sana had tied the knot with Anas Saiyad from Gujarat on November 20, 2020, in an intimate ceremony. Sana’s transformation had shocked the nation, making people wonder if their married life would sustain. However, now, Sana and Anas have completed 1 year of their married life and she penned a note of gratitude.
For the unversed, Sana Khan had announced her wedding on November 22, 2020, by sharing a picture with her husband on her Instagram handle. Alongside it, she had written:
"Love each other for the sake of Allah. Married each other for the sake of Allah. May Allah keep us united in this Duniya. And reunite us in Jannah. Fabi ayyi ala-e rabbekumaa tokazzebaan. Which of the favours of your lord will u deny."

Sana Khan and her husband, Anas Saiyad, completed one year of their married life, and she took the opportunity to present her gratitude to Allah for blessing her. Sharing a loved-up picture with Anas, Sana wrote:
“I pray for your Deen and Akhirah and everything in between just like I pray for mine. I pray for you just like I’m praying for myself, because what I want for myself I want for you. You lead me closer to Allah & not the sin you were worth the wait. Shaadi ki pehli salgira khoob mubarak ho @anas_saiyad20. Can’t wait for the photo background to turn into real one for us soon. In Sha Allah.”
A few days back, we had stumbled upon a video of Sana Khan, wherein she was talking about her spiritual journey. During the same session, the former actress had revealed the hate comments she had received for her nikaah. Sana had said:
"Mere nikaah par toh aisi baate uthi thi, mai tikkugi ki nahi. Meri shaadi 6 mahine bhi nahi tikegi. Or mai wapas wahi ho jaungi. Mujhe sabr de, or in logo ko dikha de yeh kitne galat hai. Or shayad yeh apna najariya badale."

In December 2020, Sana Khan had gone on honeymoon with her husband, Anas Saiyad, to Kashmir as international travel was restricted at that time due to the COVID-19. Taking to her IG stories, Sana had shared a video showcasing the snow-covered hills in Gulmarg, Kashmir. In a series of videos, she had talked about the cold weather of Kashmir and her visit to Gulmarg. Other than this, her husband, Anas Sayied had shared a video showcasing the view from their room.
In an interview with The Times Of India, Sana had shared the details of meeting her hubby, Anas Saiyad. She had said:
"We first met in 2017 in Mecca. It was a brief meeting on the day I was returning to India. Anas was introduced to me as an Islamic scholar. I would like to clarify that he is an Alim, and not a Mufti. I contacted him towards the end of 2018, as I had some questions about religion. Then, after more than a year, we reconnected in 2020. I was always inclined towards learning more about Islam."
