In an interview with World Samachar, Sameera had talked about spending lockdown with her 'darling mom-in-law'. She had said, "The lockdown has really handed off nicely due to my mother-in-law. We now have this banter between us all day lengthy and I take pleasure in her firm. She (Manjiri Varde) lets me be and could be very vocal about sure issues I do, with out being judgemental. Because the lockdown continued, we cooked and considered recreating a brand new recipe with leftovers. That’s how we shot the ‘rotla’ video (chapati with leftover rice)."
In an interview with the Filmfare, Sameera had talked about her days spend with her mom-in-law, and had said, "It’s a little frustrating because my four-year-old son Hans needs to expend all of that boy energy and my nine-month-old girl, Nyra, just crawls. So I decided on a joint dance activity. I carry the baby in my arms and my son dances around me. We all need to free ourselves at a time like this, to give space even to children. That’s why I let Hans paint even if it means I have to clean the marble floors for two hours afterwards. My husband (Akshai) prepares breakfast before starting to work his normal hours, during which Hans sits and studies next to him on the applications he has downloaded. My mother-in-law and I prepare elaborate meals, then get creative with the leftovers. I became thrifty with supplies too, using diapers only for the nights. Since I don’t have summer clothes adapted to Nyra’s size, I cut the sleeves of her t-shirts to make sleeveless tops."
