South superstar, Samantha Akkineni is that lucky one, as she found a family in her husband, Naga Chaitanya’s parents, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni. Ever since Samantha Akkineni had tied the knot with Naga Chaitanya, the nation is curious to know how married life has been treating her, her relationship with her in-laws and a lot more. In an interview with AsianTVnews, Samantha’s mother-in-law, Amala Akkineni had revealed that her daughter-in-law doesn’t cook for the family but instead helps her father-in-law, Akkineni Nagarjuna with the essentials. Speaking of Nagarjuna’s cooking, Amala had said, "When we have such a good cook in the family, why do we need to hire a cook?" A few hours back, Samantha posted Insta stories, giving a glimpse of her cooking session. In reply to her mother-in-law’s comment on her cooking, Samantha treated her fans with glimpses of truffle mushroom pasta in the making and the final result.

On August 29, 2019, when South superstar, Nagarjuna had turned 60, his sons, Chaitanya Akkineni, Akhil Akkineni and the former’s wife, Samatha Akkineni had jetted off to Ibiza to give him a surprise to remember. Samantha had taken to her Instagram handle to post the first-ever, full family photograph, comprising of herself, hubby, Chaitanya, father-in-law, Nagarjuna, Chay's step-mother, Amala Akkineni and Chay’s half-brother, Akhil Akkineni from their holiday. Sharing the picture, she had written, “Nag mama says “Thank you for all the love... always and forever… your blessings matter the most.””
Samatha Akkineni, like a doting bahu, had penned a heartfelt wish for her father-in-law, Nagarjuna, by posting a steaming picture of the birthday man in a swimming pool, flaunting his biceps and toned body. Nagarjuna’s picture can totally give any millennial a run for money! She had written, “What everyone seeks you have found .. just being around you I have learned to only look within for happiness ... it is your beautiful mind , the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of the people you love ..you have defeated age, my mama, #happybirthdayking You will continue to inspire generation after generation .. you are pure goals.”
While Samantha Akkineni had swooned us with her sartorial picks every single time, she was trolled for her outfit post her wedding with Naga Chaitanya. Recalling the negative criticism she had faced for wearing a revealing outfit for the first time after marriage, Samantha had stated in an interview with the Hyderabad Times, “I remember, the first time when I wore something revealing after marriage, I was trolled terribly and it was very, very hard. But I noticed that when I did it the second time, it was not so bad. It’s all about taking that first step. I’m not going to say that I did something brave. I was scared of the repercussions and of the trolling.
