It was in 2015 when dating rumours of Chay and Sam had started surfacing and it had gotten more mileage when she had revealed that she had found her prince charming. They are completely opposite to each other and have showed us how opposites attract. After knowing each other for 8 years, the duo had tied the knot on October 6, 2017. The couple had first gotten married according to traditional South Indian rituals and later in a Christian wedding. And since then, we have been drooling over their adorable pictures.
On January 10, 2021, Naga Chaitanya took to his Twitter handle and shared the teaser of his upcoming film, Love Story opposite Sai Pallavi. And his doting wife, Samantha Akkineni couldn’t stop herself from praising her hubby’s performance in it. Sharing the screengrab of the teaser, Samantha wrote, “No one does it better… @chay_akkineni... you just keep growing from strength to strength.”
On November 23, 2020, Naga Chaitanya had turned 34 and had received the sweetest wish from his wifey, Samantha. She had taken to her Twitter handle and had unveiled the poster of his upcoming Telugu film, Love Story. Sharing the poster, Samantha had written, “Always living life on your own terms @chay_akkineni. Wishing you only happiness always and forever.” Chaitanya had celebrated his birthday eve with Samantha in the Maldives and the doting wife had shared a glimpse of the same on her IG stories. A month back, Samantha had featured on the chat show, Zoom Happy Space and had revealed some details of her personal life. She had talked about her relationship with Chaitanya and had stated, “I am all kinds of weird but he makes me into the stable kind of weird." Samantha had also shared how she convinces Chaitanya before posting his picture on her social media handle and had said, “If I have to put up his picture on my social media, I have to give him one month notice or he has to be in a really good mood."
A few days back, Samantha had hosted a ‘Post A Pic’ session with her fans and had shared a number of pictures from her personal life. When asked by one of her fans that which is her most memorable picture, the diva had posted an adorable picture with her hubby, Naga Chaitanya. The picture was from their first film together, Ye Maaya Chesave, atop which she had written, “First photo shoot”. Another fan had asked Sam to post a picture that will always be in her heart, to which the stunning actress had shared a picture with Chaitanya from their Hindu wedding.
Some days ago, rumours were rife that Samantha is pregnant and 'Samchay' (as fans adorably call this stunning couple) fans had started conjecturing the arrival of another celeb baby soon. In an interview with Film Companion, Samantha had rubbished such reports and was quoted as saying, “I have put a date as to when I want my baby. The date has been fixed! Like, as if that’s going to happen according to the date we have fixed!
