Almost two months back, the entire Indian film industry was numbed when the legendary Bollywood actor, Dilip Kumar had left for his heavenly abode. Just when the pictures of his wife, Saira Banu, crying inconsolably with his mortal remains had broken everyone's heart, the actress had also proved what it is to love someone truly. However, after the death of her husband, Saira Banu wasn't keeping well. 

On September 1, 2021, reports of the veteran actress, Saira Banu's hospitalisation due to some health complications were doing the rounds. From Twitter to Instagram, various pictures of the iconic actress from her hit films were trending on social media as people poured their prayers for her recovery and impatiently waited for a major health update from confirmed sources.

According to a report of ETimes, who got in touch with a senior doctor attending Saira Banu, at the Hinduja Hospital Mumbai, the actress is out of danger now. The doctor also shared that there was nothing serious that needs to be attended immediately, and they will be moving Saira Banu out of the ICU. For the uninitiated, Saira Banu was hospitalised after complaining of breathlessness.

Dr Nikhil Gokhale, whose father, Dr Shrikant Gokhale was late Dilip Kumar and his wife, Saira Banu's family doctor gave a major health update about Saira Banu. He said, "She is fine, she has completely stabilised, and we will be moving her out of the ICU either tonight or tomorrow." Moreover, he also added that she had suffered from left ventricular failure and would need to undergo angiography to get cured.

The doctor further revealed that Saira Banu might be released and then admitted again for the angiography but before that, they have to bring her diabetes under control. A left ventricular failure is a condition in which the dysfunction of the left ventricle leads to the insufficient flow of blood to the vital organs. An angiography will help the doctor to spot any problems as it highlights the blood vessels.
