Saif Ali Khan is an exemplary father who has been able to relive different ages of him through his sons, Ibrahim, Taimur and Jehangir. For the unversed, while Ibrahim is the son of Saif from his previous marriage with actress, Amrita Singh, on the other hand, the munchkins, Taimur and Jehangir are his sons from his current wife, Kareena Kapoor. The father-sons trio are known to share a wonderful bond and are often spotted enjoying their time together.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Saif Ali Khan pondered over the sports preference of his son, Taimur Ali Khan. He revealed that, unlike his family, which is a legend of the cricketing world, Taimur is probably the first to have his likeness not in it but in football. Moreover, Saif also revealed how he had once tried playing football himself during his younger days but could not succeed much in it. In his words:
“Taimur is far more keen on football that cricket. I tried to be a centre forward. But I was not good at it. I was a decent right back and did well as a goalkeeper. I loved diving about it.”

Coming next, Saif also revealed how his eldest son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, has taken a deep interest in playing cricket, much like his grandfather, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. In fact, Saif also revealed that Ibrahim indeed plays the game quite well and has a sporty disposition towards the same. He mentioned:
“He plays cricket very well and is generally very sporty.”
Taimur Ali Khan is been one of the most popular star kids of his time. He has been commanding a huge fan base even before his birth, and fast forward to today, nearly everyone waits with bated breath to catch a glimpse of him. However, his daddy, Saif, once revealed his son’s playful style of avoiding junk food. In an interview with CNBC, Saif revealed how Taimur taught him the simplest way of avoiding junk food and leading a healthy life. He mentioned:
“Taimur once told me to not eat junk food. He said, eat a fruit and pretend it’s a chip."

Despite having moved on in his personal life after a broken marriage with his ex-wife, Amrita Singh, Saif Ali Khan has always responsibly shouldered the responsibilities of his children, Sara and Ibrahim. He once shared his nervous worries for his son, Ibrahim, and his future like every concerned parent would. In an interview with Zoom, Saif revealed how he continues praying for Ibrahim's great future. Moreover, he revealed how his son often shares often compares his looks, similar to that his dad’s younger days.
