The cutest celeb kid on the block is undoubtedly the youngest internet sensation, Taimur Ali Khan. The younger Pataudi has gathered a lot of attention since his first photo with star parents, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan had gone viral on the internet and all over the newspapers. Taimur had become media and paparazzi’s favourite celeb kid in no time and internet and social media platforms are filled with his adorable pictures with his parents. Like any other parents, Saif and Kareena too are protective about their soon-to-be three-year-old munchkin, Tim. However, they have never hidden Taimur away from media glares and paparazzi. Saif and Kareena have time and again expressed their concern over the constant media attention on their little lad, Taimur. Paparazzi pester Tim 24x7 and the latter too has garnered so much love from the nation with his cute smile and sweet gestures. Paparazzi leaves no stone unturned to capture little Tim’s pictures and whereabouts. Recently, the paps had remained away from chote nawab’s house in Bandra due to the complaint made by the neighbors. Post this incident, Saif had spoken to the media personnel and had requested them not to gather outside his residence. The Laal Kaptaan star, Saif Ali Khan in a recent interview had talked about the paparazzi culture and talked about how Tim feels about the photographers clicking his pictures. He said, “Taimur is least interested in getting photographed.” He also revealed that Taimur had started saying, ‘No pictures please’.
Tim loves to spend time outdoors and like running here and there with his friends. He is a nature baby and this is what Saif has agreed to. In an interaction with Zoom TV, Saif had spoken about Tim’s endearing traits and had said, “It's nice in a place like Pataudi and see farm animals. When he is abroad, you know he loves to go to petting zoos and things like this. He's quite a nature boy; it's good that way. He loves running around outside barefoot which is what I would have wanted.”
In an interview with the Film Companion, Kareena Kapoor Khan had talked about the constant worry she and Saif Ali Khan have for Taimur. She had said, “Because what am I supposed to go screaming, what am I supposed to do. So it's like dangerous for us, the test is in us. The pressure is on Saif and me more than him. He is still growing up he is still small, he is registering that he's being clicked because they are calling his name. But the pressure is more on the parents because we are worrying constantly. It's up to us to give him a normal upbringing.”
Sometimes, for the safety and well-being of their kids, parents are forced to take some harsh decisions. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan too had taken a decision of providing their son a normal upbringing. Yes, the couple has decided to send little Tim to boarding school. In Romedy Now’s The Love Laugh Live Show, Kareena had talked about Tim’s future plans and had said, “We both are pretty much in for it. The life in Mumbai, the life we have in the movies might push us to the point. Right now, I can't have people trailing him around. It just bothers me when people say, 'oh I look at Taimur's picture and it makes me happy' I find it little weird also because I don't look at other kids' pictures and say it makes me happy. It is just the way I am. It will be great if he can have a normal life, though we are trying as much as we can." Taimur Ali Khan will be going to a British boarding school and it was Saif Ali Khan’s idea. Putting light on the same, Kareena had said, “They are leaving us with no choice. But of course, as a mother, it would kill me to send him away. And I think it'd be unfair and I tell Saif that it'd be like running away from reality because this is the reality.” Expressing her worry that her son can't just go out and about the city and do normal things like other children, Kareena went on to say that come what may, she will not ask Taimur to not have a normal childhood or to not go for his playtime. Bebo had continued, “I can't do that to him, I can't lock him up. I want him to fly and I want him to be free.”
In an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Kareena had shown her concern over the media’s obsession with her son, Taimur. She had said, “Taimur can’t run away from his popularity and neither can his parents. When I saw the doll, I wondered what was I supposed to say. But Saif pointed out that it is because people love him so much and such things are a blessing for him. There is so much genuine warmth for our son that it’s bad to stop people from clicking his pictures or making his dolls. But, they should understand that he is a two-year-old child and needs a normal life. Both Saif and I are struggling to give him that and will continue to do so without telling the media to back off, no matter how annoying it gets after a point.
