And speaking of celeb sisters reminds us of the spectacular Karisma Kapoor and her sissy, Kareena Kapoor Khan. Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan show us how to rule the world! From travelling together every now and then, and twinning when they head out for parties, there aren’t many whom we love like the ravishing Kapoor sisters! Talking about their professional lives now, Kareena made her debut in the telly screen as a judge in Dance India Dance. While we are all elated to see the power-packed performances, it is Kareena whom we all are eager to see everyday.
But the recent episode of Dance India Dance will see Kareena Kapoor Khan’s ravishing sister, Karisma Kapoor filled in for the actress as Bebo is recently shooting in London for her upcoming film, Angrezi Medium. In the picture, Karisma looked amazing in a pink beaded Zara Umrigar gown. Sharing her first look as a guest judge, the Raja Hindustani star wrote, “Filling in for my gorgeous sister as guest judge on @danceindiadance.official #danceiconspecial #dancekajungistaan #zeetv.” Here is her first look:
And it was during the course of the dance reality show, Dance India Dance, when Karisma Kapoor shared that she has an amazing camaraderie with sister, Kareena Kapoor Khan and jija, Saif Ali Khan. She also revealed the gift bestowed by Saif to her during his wedding with Kareena. Karisma shared, “Nawab sahib, in his nawabi style, gave me a beautiful gift, a pair of earrings that is a cherished possession even today.” Karisma was also all praises about Saif and shared, “Saif is an amazing, super cool and chilled out person.” Saali and jija relationship we say! Kareena Kapoor Khan is striving hard to keep pace with engagements, hectic shoot schedules, as well as son, Taimur Ali Khan. About the same, a source close to Bebo had shared with the DNA, “Kareena has always balanced her professional and personal life well. She has a choc-a-block schedule ahead with four big movies coming up. She is likely to shoot for Angrezi Medium either in July-end or August, then there’s Takht and Lal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan. Her film, Good News, with Akshay Kumar will release at the end of this year for which the promotions will begin a month before." The source had further added, "She is flying down from London only for a day so that she can spend more time with Taimur. Besides, she endorses 17 brands, so there will be quite a few campaigns that she will be shooting for." Such a doting mommy, isn’t she?
Kareena Kapoor Khan is seen judging Dance India Dance: Battle of the Champions. This, being her first-ever television debut, the superstar was confident that her fans will love her as a judge too! She had shared, “Fans have accepted me in whatever I have done, and they know who Kareena is, so I am not worried about their reaction. I have always believed in taking decisions more from my heart than mind. And this show is all about emotions. People come from various backgrounds and they just need a little push to do wonders in life. I will be a friend to them. Bosco can keep a check on the technical part, and be the strict judge (laughs).”
Kareena Kapoor Khan had also talked about her parents’ and hubby, Saif Ali Khan’s view on her judging stint. She had stated, “Well my parents have always been so supportive of me doing anything. Saif (Ali Khan) was a little nervous about how will I manage the hectic timings. But he told me, ‘you are a star, you will do everything’.”
Moving on, let us talk about the ‘oh-so-stylish’ Kapoor sisters now. Time and again in interviews, have Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan shared how close they are with each other. In an interview with the IANS, Karisma had revealed if Kareena reaches out to her for tips and shared, “Kareena and I are very close and we discuss everything, including our kids. In a 2018 interview with Filmfare, Karisma Kapoor had shared some unknown facts about her sister, Kareena Kapoor Khan. She had shared, “Apart from being a carefree person, I would say that she is a very emotional person. It is because of family, upbringing -- my dad, my mom. The Kapoors and the Shivdasanis, we have been extremely close and family is most important. We say careers, friends, work everything is important, but family is THE most important. That’s how we have that bond of sisters and we are a very strong women-centric home. I am fortunate to have that bond (with Kareena).”
