Love in the times of a pandemic is not at all easy. The social distancing, masked faces and sanitiser as an in-vogue accessory, the Coronavirus has changed the world completely. However, in these uncertain times, one thing that most couples are certain of is that they are ready to take the plunge right away, and ASAP!
Over the last one-and-a-half year ago, we have seen a drastic change in the wedding world. The big fat Indian wedding ceremonies have gotten intimate, the smiles have been masked, but one thing is still the same, i.e. brides and their wish of finding the prettiest outfit for their big day. And our bride of the week won our hearts with her Sabyasachi Mukherjee ensemble.
Meet our bride of the week, Catia Tavares, a Portuguese beauty, who had tied the knot with her best friend, Shiv Panaich. After their wedding was postponed, like any other couple, the duo had become each other's forever in an Anand Karaj ceremony in London. Another highlight of their wedding was their furries, who had attended their special day.
The bride had beautiful adorned the Indian-ness on her wedding day. She had picked a crimson red-sharara for her day wedding from everyone's favourite Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Her look was accentuated with a choker neckpiece, a pair of matching earrings, a maang teeka, and a nath. She had styled her look with a double dupatta - one was tucked on her shoulder and another one over her head.
The groom had worn a cream-hued sherwani from Frontier Raas, which had lovely golden embroidery. He had accessorised his look with a cream doshala with a red border that matched the bride's sharara. A statement neckpiece and a red turban had made him look like a prince.
The bride won our heart with her Sabyasachi Mukherjee sharara, and we loved every picture from their special moment!
