The young girl adorned in red chooda with a glistening red shaadi ka joda, is a sight to behold. Meet our bride of the week, Aastha, who had tied the knot with the man of her dreams in an intimate ceremony at Noor Mahal in Karnal, Haryana. Unlike other Indian brides, who love decking themselves up with heavily embroidered lehenga, our bride of the week had chosen a minimalist yet traditional ensemble from the designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Her glistening red lehenga had featured a golden border at the hem and red tassel detailing, which she had teamed with a matching choli and a beautiful red dupatta.

Decoding the Sabyasachi bride's look

The bride had accentuated her look with a golden polki choker and a long neckpiece, matching jhumkis, maang teeka and a dainty nath. Her makeup artist, Shruti Sharma, had dolled her up with natural makeup, with her soft eyeshadow and pink lips.
