Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are often tagged as the 'power' couple of Bollywood. In February 2021, Saif and Kareena had embraced parenthood for the second time with the arrival of their second son. After delivering her second child, Kareena had decided to keep the little one away from the limelight. A few days back, reports were rife that Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan had named their second child, Jeh.
And now, to everyone's surprise, the super-mommy, Kareena had revealed the name of her newborn. In her book, KAREENA KAPOOR KHAN'S PREGNANCY BIBLE: The ultimate manual for moms-to-be, Kareena had addressed her newborn as 'Jeh' and in the last few pages, she shared her second child's name as 'Jehangir'.

As soon as the reports of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan naming their second child, Jehangir had started doing the rounds, netizens started trolling the couple for hurting Sikh Community's sentiments. For the unversed, Jehangir was the fourth Mughal Emperor, who had executed Sikh Guru Arjan. And now, amid all the chaos, Saif Ali Khan's sister, Saba Ali Khan reacted to the trolling and supported her bhai and bhabhi. Saba took to her IG handle and shared a collage of Jeh with Saif, Kareena and Taimur and wrote, "Jeh... Jaan. What's in a name? Love…Live and Let it be…Children are God's blessings."
Trolling Saif and Kareena brutally, one user wrote, "Lagta hain Saif Taimur Dynasty ki line lagane wale hain, Taimur hua, Jehangir hua, then Khalil, Shahrukh, Mirza." Another one wrote, "Imagine a punjabi Kapoor naming her sons after Taimur and Jehangir who tortured and brutally executed Sikh Guru Arjan. That is what Red heart j1had does to your psyche #jehangir #Taimur #Taliban."

This is not the first time that Kareena and Saif are facing backlashes on social media. When their first child, Taimur Ali Khan was born in 2016, his name had created a lot of stir on social media. Soon after the star parents had announced the name of their baby boy, netizens had started questioning the origin of his name as ‘Taimur’ was a historic name of a Persian emperor, who had invaded India in 1398.
In a conversation with journalist, Barkha Dutt, Kareena Kapoor Khan had talked about the whole controversy. When the journalist had asked her about how she had dealt with all the trolling on Taimur's name, Kareena had stated, “What happened about his name was just ghastly. It was disgusting and I'll never forget it. It has obviously scarred me deeply as a person, as a mother. What I name my child, what I call him, is completely my discretion and of nobody else's concern.”

Saif and Kareena had welcomed their second child, Jehangir on February 21, 2021.
