Popular television actor, Saahil Uppal tied the knot with the love of his life, Aakriti Atreja on December 8, 2022. The much-in-love couple looked like a match made in heaven in their respective wedding ensembles. For the unversed, Saahil is known for his stint on shows like Ek Shringaar Swabhiman, Pavitra Bandhan, Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey, Piyaa Albela, and Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki among others. On the other hand, Aakriti is a writer.
A few moments back, while scrolling through our IG feed, we stumbled upon a few pictures from Saahil and Aakriti's wedding. For the ceremony, the bride opted for a red-hued lehenga with intricate silver embroidery all over it. She paired it with a matching blouse and completed her look with two dupattas. Keeping her tresses open, she accentuated her look with stone-studded jewellery and flaunted her kaleeras. On the other hand, Saahil looked dapper in a maroon-hued heavily embroidered kurta and a white dhoti.

Saahil and Aakriti's wedding festivities started with haldi ceremony, and the much-in-love couple enjoyed it to the fullest. Aakriti looked oh-so-gorgeous in a yellow-hued satin saree and opted for a simple look. She completed her look with floral jewellery and made for the most elegant bride-to-be. On the other hand, Saahil complemented her in a yellow kurta and white pyjama.

Ahead of their wedding, the internet was abuzz with the couple's engagement pictures. For their dreamy engagement ceremony, Aakriti decked up in a glittery golden-hued lehenga featuring heavy embellishments all over it. She paired it with a matching strappy blouse and draped her dupatta like a cape. Completing her look with a heavy choker and matching earrings, the then-bride-to-be looked stunning with her hair left open. On the other hand, Saahil looked dapper in a black tuxedo.

Talking about their love story, Saahil's flatmates, who were her college friends, introduced him to Aakriti in 2016. The duo instantly hit it off and became best friends. The best thing about their relationship is that they're each other's best friends. Eventually, Saahil and Aakriti fell in love and decided to get married. Once in an interview, Saahil had revealed that apart from her temperament, he was attracted to the fact that Aakriti is quite creative.
