Actress, Rubina Dilaik and her actor-husband, Abhinav Shukla, are one of the power couples of Tinseltown. Their fans adore them, and since their camaraderie in the reality show, Bigg Boss 14, they have been showered with immense love. The two had their own share of ups and downs, but they had come out stronger with each passing day.
Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla had walked down the aisle after dating each other for four years. The couple had got married in a lavish destination wedding in Shimla on June 21, 2018. For the unversed, Rubina and Abhinav had met at a common friend's house on Ganesh Chaturthi. After years of putting effort, Rubina had made Abhinav fall for her and thus, love had blossomed between the duo. And, their love story had become a fairytale!

In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Rubina was asked why she doesn't wear her wedding solitaire ring. To which, the actress replied that it has a connection with her husband, Abhinav Shukla, and added:
“Why I don’t have a solitaire in my hand as an engagement or a wedding ring, is because Abhinav has always believed that diamonds are blood diamonds. The amount of blood that is shed to secure, procure, keep them out there safe and make them the most expensive of all the rocks…”
Talking about how women wear diamond rings on their ring fingers and flaunt them in front of the world, Rubina stated that it is not worth the bloodshed that we see. The actress also revealed that her husband, Abhinav Shukla feels that diamonds exploit our environment. In her words:
“Women just flaunt around saying four carats, five carats, ten carats. I don’t believe in this at all. Because what people go through for it to be on your ring finger is not worth the bloodshed that we see. And the coal mines that we dig beneath, we exploit our environment. He used to always say, ‘Blood diamonds’.”

In an old interview with ETimes, Rubina Dilaik had dedicated her incredible win in the reality show, Bigg Boss 14 to her husband, Abhinav Shukla and had called him 'the reason behind her win'. The doting wife had stated that Abhinav had always reassured her that she could achieve anything in this world, and that is the kind of motivation and support that had played the most important role in her win. She had stated:
"He is the reason why I won this trophy. His support was with me throughout. I always have the confidence, but I need someone to reassure me that I can achieve things. I feel a good life partner does that. Abhinav is that person in my life. In all humility, I will dedicate this win to him."
In another interview with radio host, Siddharth Kannan, Rubina Dilaik had talked about how she had to go the extra mile to woo her husband, Abhinav Shukla. Rubina had shared that she used to get rid of her driver and drive herself, even if she did not like it, as she could not tell the driver that she was stalking Abhinav. She had also revealed that she used to wait below his house to 'spy' if he was telling the truth about not being at home. She had told the host:
“Maine bohot papad bele.”
On the work front, Rubina was last seen in the show, Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.
