We are talking about the wedding of none other than Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka fame, Abhinav Shukla and Shakti Astiva Ke Ehsas Ki fame, Rubina Dilaik. The lovebirds are all set to take the wedding vows within a few more minutes at the famous Woodville Palace, Shimla. After having a colourful and mastibhari mehendi ceremony on June 19, 2018, Rubina and Abhinav are all set to take the saat pheras. Just lately, we shared with you the baraat videos (check here if missed) and now, the bride has reached the wedding venue too. Rubina is looking no less than an angel on her D-day dressed in an ivory colour lehenga having floral embroidery on it. The bride chose to wear polki, pearls and laakh jewellery. Not just this, the happy bride, Rubina is a dancing bride too. You know why we are saying so? In an earlier interview, Rubina revealed that they will be taking 7 secret vows after the wedding. She informed, "I am feeling neither nervousness nor excitement, as the preparations for the wedding and my ongoing TV show shoot schedules have left me numb (laughs). Coordinating things is very difficult. I have hardly slept for four to five hours a day in the last one-and-a-half months. Abhinav and I have decided to exchange seven vows after the traditional wedding. I have written mine and I hope he has too.”
Talking about the reason why they chose Shimla as a destination for their wedding, she said, "To keep the wedding a private affair, we will have the functions in a palace in Shimla, away from the media. Our families will also be more comfortable without the media around. However, we will invite the media and our friends to the reception in Mumbai. I always wanted a fairytale wedding and wanted to get married in a palace, and I am glad that this dream will come true. It is a privilege and an honour that Raj Kumar Uday Singh said that they would love to host the wedding at the palace.
