Rohit, who is a renowned cricketer, is extremely happy to step into a new phase of being a father. Even before his daughter was born, he had shared his level of excitement in an interview. He had stated, “I cannot wait to be a father; it is going to be a game-changing moment in our lives. I am eagerly awaiting the moment of becoming a father. It will be a moment to change our lives.”
The cricketer is currently juggling his personal and professional life with an ace. From preparing for Indian Premier League to taking care of his little wonder of joy, Samaira. On March 23, 2019, Rohit’s wife, Ritika shared a super-cute video of the cricketer with his baby girl, grooving on the tunes of a hit rap from the film, Gully Boy. Take a look at it below:
Ritika, who loved the father-daughter dance, was a little disappointed and she shared her reason in the caption that reads, “I spent 9 months making her listen to Mozart in my belly and he rolls in with Gully Boy and she’s all about it.” Well, we totally understand her! After 3 years of marital bliss, the couple welcomed their beautiful daughter and on January 6, 2019, Rohit revealed his daughter’s name to the world. The right-handed batsman took to Instagram to share an adorable family picture with wife, Ritika and their daughter and captioned it as, “Baby Samaira”, followed by a heart emoji. In an interview with Australian cricketer, Michael Clarke, Rohit had shared his teammates’ reaction when he shared the news of his baby’s arrival. He had said, “When my teammates got to know that I am going to become a father, they were laughing at me. They were like you are going to be a father? The reaction came in because of the mannerism and the things I have done in my previous years. They think I am irresponsible, obviously in a funny way. But I am gonna make sure that everything changes.”
In an earlier interview, Rohit had recalled the first meeting when he met Ritika. He had shared, “I was shooting with some senior members of the Indian team including Yuvraj Singh. When I met Yuvi in his trailer, Ritika was there.
