On September 29, 2018, Rishi Kapoor had taken to his Twitter handle and had tweeted about him jetting off to New York. The tweet had raised the speculations about his health. The news was ‘almost’ confirmed by Neetu Kapoor’s New Year 2019 wish on her Instagram handle. Her post had given us the confirmation about Rishi ji suffering from cancer. She had written, “Happy 2019 no resolutions only wishes this year!!! Less pollution traffic!! Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign!!! Now, Rishi ji and Neetu ji have returned to India after a prolonged stay in New York for former’s treatment. The beloved couple of B-town had gone to Tamil Nadu to seek the blessings at Balaji Temple. She took to her Instagram and shared a picture from their trip, but what caught our attention was the video along with it. In the video, she can be seen nailing a Tamil tongue-twister. On September 4, 2019, Rishi ji had celebrated his 67th birthday with wife, Neetu Kapoor and joining them was veteran actor, Anupam Kher in New York.
