A few moments back, we stumbled upon a priceless picture of late Rishi Kapoor and his wife, Neetu Kapoor, from their engagement ceremony. The monochrome picture brought back all the beautiful memories of the moment that was the beginning of this couple's forever journey. In the memorable picture, a young Rishi Kapoor can be seen sliding the engagement ring in Neetu Singh's finger with care and love. In the unmissable picture, we can also spot Rishi Kapoor's elder sister, Ritu Nanda, who looked stunning and can be seen looking away from the camera.
In 2013, in an interview with Miss Malini, Neetu Kapoor had opened up about her late husband, Rishi Kapoor, and had recalled the days when he sent her love letters through the help of their co-stars. The doting wife had also added that she was considered Rishi Kapoor's property. Neetu had also talked about the time when she had lost some weight, and it had made Rishi a bit insecure. She had said:
"Rishi would write letters when I went outdoors and have it delivered to me by all his friends who were my co-stars. I would be teased and be considered his property. We were dating for five years. At 21, I had signed a lot of big movies and was at the peak of my career and had lost weight, and that is when he got insecure."
Going further in the same interview, Neetu Kapoor had also revealed that earlier, Rishi Kapoor used to tell her that he would not marry her. But after some time, his mind had changed, and he had proposed to Neetu for marriage. Recalling the same, she had said:
"He would initially say, 'I am going around with you, but will not get married to you. But then one day he asked me, 'Don't you want to get married?' I said, 'To whom? 'He said 'What do you think I am?' I agreed. I had settled my mom financially and bought her a house. She did my wedding in a grand way and the whole of India was upset that Rishi Kapoor was getting married."

On November 30, 2021, Neetu Kapoor had dropped a throwback picture with her late husband, Rishi Kapoor, from one of their films on her Instagram handle. The picture was from their younger days and was too sweet to handle. In the picture, we could see late Rishi Kapoor wearing a light-blue coloured T-shirt along with a pair of bell-bottoms. On the other hand, Neetu Kapoor could be seen wearing a beige-coloured shirt with a red dress over it, and both of them were seated on a bike. She had captioned the picture as "Just", followed by an array of red heart emoticons.
