Indian cricketer, Rishabh Pant met with a serious car accident in Uttarakhand when he was travelling to his hometown in Roorkee. The cricketer’s car crashed into a divider, and it reportedly happened around 5:30 a.m. on December 30, 2022. The life-threatening accident took place in the Mohammedpur Jat area. Rishabh Pant was admitted to a hospital in Roorkee, but soon he was shifted to a renowned hospital in Dehradun.
While the internet is filled with heartfelt messages and prayers for the cricketer’s speedy recovery, Rishabh Pant’s rumoured ex-girlfriend, Urvashi Rautela shared a cryptic post minutes after he was hospitalised in Uttarakhand. On December 30, 2022, Urvashi took to her Instagram handle and shared a stunning picture of herself in a white outfit. In the picture, she looked absolutely breathtaking. However, it was her cryptic caption that set the internet on fire. The actress wrote:

As soon as the actress uploaded the picture on her Instagram handle, netizens bombarded the comment section of her post with unapologetic comments. While some speculated that the actress's caption, ‘Praying’, is for Rishabh Pant, many advised her to visit the injured cricketer in hospital. Some people also referred to Urvashi as ‘Rishabh Pant’s wife’ and told her to upload a sad story about the cricketer after his accident. Not only this, but one user also trolled the actress for uploading her stunning pictures and commented:
"Mohabbat hospital mein admit hain aapki uske paas jao post baadme upload kar dena."
Moments after Indian cricketer, Rishabh Pant got severely injured in a car crash in Uttarakhand, the Director General of Uttarakhand Police, Ashok Kumar, shared an important update about the same. The government official revealed that the cricketer dozed off while driving his BMW car on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. Not only this, but Ashok also revealed that the accident was such severe that the car caught fire immediately after the collision.

After the news of Rishabh Pant’s car crash made its way on the internet, his massive fanbase, the entire cricket fraternity, and celebrities started praying for his speedy recovery. Even Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami, also reacted to the famous cricketer’s car accident in his state. In an interview with ANI, he shared his views on the cricketer’s severe car crash and promised everyone that Rishabh Pant would receive the best treatment in Dehradun. He said:
"Cricketer Rishabh Pant met with an accident near Roorkee today. He is being taken to Dehradun for further treatment. All the healthcare facilities will be taken care of. We pray for his speedy recovery: Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami."
